Frankly I'm saving Choir Boy for one of my last playthroughs along with Isabella. I'll get to him eventually, but I want to make the right character for him before I go down that path.

Plus I think his achievements are glitched?
Overall I'm let down by this, especially when there were soooo many other options with cheek fanning romance scenes. *cough*ander'skiss*cough* . Oh Sebastian... you had such potential.

It took him a second to connect the dots. "Why are you smiling like that?" He mentions in banters that he was a womanizer before he took vows at the Chantry, so I guess he just wasn't expecting anyone to flirt with him.
Sadly, that was probably the best part of it. In all fairness, he's not mentioned as an official romance, and David Gaider mentioned in another thread that he's not really a love interest. And having looked at the Anders and Fenris threads, I'm totally going after one of them next time. I did love the accent. Scottish accents FTW.
I think he, at least in my opinion, suffers from having less "Holy crap, that was awesome/sad/funny!" moments. I missed Fenris on my playthrough, so I have no idea what he does, but Anders gets to a) save Hawke from a blood mage's mind control (possibly),
Sebastian got to punch some guy in one of his quests, and that was about it.
Also, I for one was more attached to Anders from playing Awakening and that affection transferred over to him in DA2. Poor guy looks like he's been through the wringer in the time since he was running around Amaranthine with the Warden.
Also *ENDING SPOILERS*
I know when Sebastian threw down the "You let Anders live; I'm bringing an army" my reaction was "Bring it! I'm not killing my buddy just because you say so." Kudos to the VA for absolutely nailing the "your precious Anders" line. I wanted to punch Sebastian in the face for that one.

And yeah, he doesn't even visit your home aside from your dog. And I felt kinda shafted.
Not flirting with others, or even the chaste/Anders issue, doesn't bother me. I just wish you didn't pick him up as a companion till act 2, and your flirting is practically barely phasing him for the only 2 or 3 times you can do it, till act 3. >.>
I was let down sadly. :/ He's obviously not recognized by other characters like the other romances are and that makes me sad.
I even noticed to check out of boredom, that in his debug mode that there isn't even a romance condition to turn on or off. So I guess its safe to say that the game isn't meant to recognize your "relationship" considering its not really a romance. But he sure gets straight to the point for not having a romance. D:

This is a bit of a tangent, but it seems like the only people who comment on the tragedy afterwards are the ones who were actually there. So in my case, only Anders, Sebastian, and whoever the third person was were the only ones who said, "I'm sorry about x."

Defiling is good.
Nuff said.

For some reason I actually got the Sebastian romance, I was just teasing him for fun, because I was already flirting with Fenris. I even got the chaste marriage bit, maybe it was a bug or something. Still he is cute, to bad there is no option of defiling pure chantry boy.

Ack. As much as I love Alistair, it made me clench my teeth when he said during his cameo.
But on topic, I agree, that this was a wasted opportunity. I could have lived without kisses and such if only we'd gotten a really good sendoff at the gallows near the end. "I've never known a woman like you. I wish... never mind. We cannot afford distractions now." and "you're a good friend" was just so... sad, really.
After my dissapointed mage Hawke finished the game, I started a rogue Hawke intending to go for Fenris, but I find myself after Sebastian again. I don't know how it happened, but I just love him, even though he's really nothing like I'd
As far as Anders, he's just really, really changed. I'm totally with him until a certain explosion in act 3. Even without Sebastian's reaction, I truly believe what he does is messed. That doesn't mean that I won't try romancing him eventually, but that Hawke will probably be the only one to decide in his favor (over Sebastian).

.
Yeah I didnt really like it when he said it either, dont really know why. Maybe because it was so brilliantly delivered the first time around, Who knows.
And Cullen was hot, glad I am not the only one that noticed.I wanted him hehe. He is more confident now. than when my mage scared him with her flirting
Sorry way of topic here
It is kinda cool we actually got to flirt with Sebastian at all considering he is a dlc. However it had potential as a forbidden romance sort of thing. I would have liked to see him conflicted.

I suppose the only good thing about Sebastian is you get to meet Leliana in the Viscount's Keep, assuming someone else doesn't give you that quest if you didn't have the DLC.

Not even KISSING!? Or ANY sort of couple type intimacy?
Sebastian has so far sadly proven to be a let down both as an LI and as a DLC from what I've heard. I was hoping for a Leliana again, someone with a firm belief in the Maker, but also in themselves. Religious, but with a personality. I didn't have to SLEEP with him but I would've at least liked KISSING or... SOMETHING.
He's nice, but he's not great and certainly not worth the $7, I'm just glad I got him for free now. If Bioware doesn't make it up somehow, I may just learn how to code so I can make a mod for a better romance with him or something. =/

You would think if you push him to rclaim Starkhaven instead of staying in the chantry that he would no longer have to live like a priest and be able to do the do.Syrehn wrote...
I just finished DA2 and romanced Sebastian. It was such a huuuge disappointment. You can't flirt with anyone if you want to be able to romance him. There's no real "romance scenes" as in no bedroom scene, no kissing, no hugging. At least nothing that I discovered. The only reference you get is to a "chaste marriage in the eyes of the chantry" and "serving the maker together" but that is it. Even at the very end of the game I thought there might be some text reference to him and my Hawke character. Kind of how at the end of DA there was... but nope. nada.
Plus I think his achievements are glitched?

He is a very yummy companion. He reminded me of Gerard Butler with that accent..and I love Gerard Butler
In saying that; I was also disappointed to read these posts and find out that there is nothing more than a chastity belt around this romance. I decided to go with Anders and I loved the cut scene with Anders kisses. Does anyone remember the movie "First Knight?" with Richard Gere, Sean Connery and Julia Ormond? OK, so that kiss is very much like the one Richard gave Julia. Loved that scene!
I also loved Isabella's scene LOL. The whole dagger thrown away bit.
So, I am so hoping that if you are able to romance Sebastian, they will have a DLC for new content and a story that he comes back and has the option to give up his Chantry robes to be with you...now THAT would be worth it.
NOTE* If Bioware is reading this...you must redeem yourself with Sebastian in a new DLC!

I couldn´t stand him lecturing everyone everytime and being a selfish douche who takes refuge in the chantry instead of facing his responsabilities.

Speaking of Chantry boys, did anyone else notice that Alistair appears to have put on some weight? I need to write to The 'ball and chain' and inform her that she needs to put his ass on a diet.
LOL! Omg..you guys are a riot!
I have not played all the way through yet...so I'll have to remember to check that out.
