Completely agree.  I'm looking forward to seeing what happens with him, especially if he leaves to amass an army.

I'm fairly certain that he will never amass an army just to follow Anders.

If Anders survives DA2 he will likely die at some point, at Hawke's hand or his own.

I had a Rivalry Romance with Chior boy. Man not even a flirt or wild "I want you" look in his eye or anything! And since I didn;t kill Anders, I guess I don't get to be a princess afteralll? dammit :/

If I was going to romance Sebastian, it would have had to have been on my first playthrough. Because after playing through with him once, there is no way any of my Hawkes would ever want that. Whiney abominations, yes. Abusive alcoholics, why not? Hypocritical choir boys, no thanks.

I know Anders is a jerk for killing all those people but I get why he did. (being a mage and all. :D)
But I remember talking Chior Boy to the gallows and he said something about. "why do mages hate the circle? Why can't they just be happy with what they have?" Right there...I wanted to kill his naive ass!

It would have been more satisfing if had you have a rivalty romance with Seb he would then see that the Chantary is a scam and Meredith is Insane. but i guess thats asking too much. :/

BTW My Hawke went for the heart crushing abusive hot elf. It just made it more fun She was a mage and he hated all mages..well he hated everything really. Lol :D

Yeah as much as I love Seb, I couldn't help but feel let down by his not just his romance, but also by his distrust for mages. I'm an Anders girl myself, even though Fenris is hard to pass up sometimes. I don't care the chantry exploded, it's going to make for a great carry on through to DA3.

DA's big selling point is the realism and not sugar coating things.  As much as love sells tickets to romantic comedies, when you get down to it, hormones are responsible for it and it's mother nature's way of providing the best way for young to be raised.

You know, a lot of people didn't kill him.  And a lot of people would be very angry if they decided to invalidate the choice to save him, just as you would be if they invalidated the choice to kill him.

Even better.  He's the only one who gets pissy about Hawke taking DuPois' blood magic shortcut to try to save Leandra.  Even Fenris and Anders, as they bitterly hate blood magic, completely understand the utter urgency of this dire situation.  Sebastian however would rather they all just wandered around town and hoped to stumble onto something (obviously you do because the plot says so, but it's incredibly unlikely and he's not metagaming).  Oh, he's also the only one who will flat out refuse to join Hawke in the Fade.  Apparently Feynriel should just go die because the Fade "is no place for a man of faith."

I want to find a way to achieve immortality in DA.  And give it to Sebastian.  Then find a spell that turns his bones into molten lava.

It's not nearly as naive as you might think.

Choir boy was a fool, I regret even flirting with him. Even after all the crap he saw the chantary had been doing he still thought the mages should be stopped. Too bad he didnt stay long enough for me to feed him fireballs for breakfast! nooo hes runs away like a little brat saying hes gonna bring an army back! pfft lol

Sadly, another situation when trusting a stranger with one of the most scary things in all of Thedas is handwaved. Good thing the plot armour protects Hawke from being abused by a blood mage the same way Ser Kerras Keran was.

Somehow I doubt if you were imprisoned in a haunted former slave torment center guarded by people on mind-altering drugs, many of whom are flat out paranoid and will have you tranquilled or killed without any evidence of wrongdoing, and apparently also contains a variety of sexual predators, that you'd be "happy with what you have."

I'm assuming you mean Keran?  Karras was a murderer and rapist.

Keran was the handsome young templar imprisoned by the deamon.

I believe he saw very little of the crap the chantry had been doing, instead he saw many things that outweigh the bad things. He would know of the good things because he was, you know, a brother. Also, he will gladly stand beside you against the templars.

Wait I thought Keran was the templar recruit that I saved, he was a rapist??? I missed something big then.

Send Bethany to the Circle and she will tell you that it's bearable. It's definitely not torture and suffering everywhere. Abuse happens (and it happens more often in the Kirkwall Circle), but abuse also happens outside the Circle, frequently.

Now imagine what life is like for the average Kirkwaller is outside the Circle. Freedom? No, struggling to survive.

Keran (not "ser," has not earned knighthood): rescued in Enemies Among Us, being tormented by demons.  If still a templar, will appear in Best Served Cold among the anti-Meredith forces that Grace had been feeding lies to, but will refuse to attack Hawke.

Ser Karras:  Scumbag trying to wipe out the Starkhaven Circle in Act of Mercy.  If Hawke doesn't get him to believe a convincing lie and just says something like he's trying to get the mages to surrender peacefully, will attack Hawke and Thrask.  If you lie and let him live, in Act II Alain mentions that Karras is "coming to his room at night" and threatens to tranquil him if he tells anyone.  In Act III, happily informs you that Meredith is trying to get the Right of Annulment.

Yes, I mean Keran. I'm sorry, always confuse the names.

Why on earth would I trust a former apprentice of Quentin not to use my stupidity against me?

So the fact that Hawke doesn't get blood mage thralled is plot armor, but the reason Bethany never gets raped isn't plot armor or even the fact that the abusive templars know better than to pick Hawke's sister as their victim, it's because we're just exaggerating or led to believe abuse is more common in the Kirkwall Circle than it is.  Mmm, that's good old fashioned hypocrisy, just like mama used to make.

Man in a way that whole damn city was just wrong, from the Templars to the creepy blood mages.
Not to mention the endless groups of thugs and scum, man Lady Hawke could never just walk home at night from the hanged man without having a blood trail behind her.
But really Meredith had to go...she was a crazy beeeyatch. I think if you kill Anders Choir boy aleast sees that right? or does he still want to side with the Templars.

I just changed Isabela to look like Sebastian and did her Act 3 quest at the brothel.  It was well worth it lol!
