I know I'm completely in the minority on this, but I liked that there's a relationship that doesn't include sex. It's kind of refreshing.
DA's big selling point is the realism and not sugar coating things. As much as love sells tickets to romantic comedies, when you get down to it, hormones are responsible for it and it's mother nature's way of providing the best way for young to be raised.

If Anders survives DA2 he will likely die at some point, at Hawke's hand or his own.
You know, a lot of people didn't kill him. And a lot of people would be very angry if they decided to invalidate the choice to save him, just as you would be if they invalidated the choice to kill him.

But I remember talking Chior Boy to the gallows and he said something about. "why do mages hate the circle? Why can't they just be happy with what they have?" Right there...I wanted to kill his naive ass!
Even better. He's the only one who gets pissy about Hawke taking DuPois' blood magic shortcut to try to save Leandra. Even Fenris and Anders, as they bitterly hate blood magic, completely understand the utter urgency of this dire situation. Sebastian however would rather they all just wandered around town and hoped to stumble onto something (obviously you do because the plot says so, but it's incredibly unlikely and he's not metagaming). Oh, he's also the only one who will flat out refuse to join Hawke in the Fade. Apparently Feynriel should just go die because the Fade "is no place for a man of faith."
I want to find a way to achieve immortality in DA. And give it to Sebastian. Then find a spell that turns his bones into molten lava.
