I knew it was blizzard, but I wasn't sure if they were getting outside companies to help or not

I mean Starcraft, lol. One of the most anticipated sequals of the century, and it took them like, 13 years 15 years to come out

I didn't really like D1, and D2 was pretty good though. But I was raised on Starcraft

I can only play RTS for so long before i get sick of rebuilding my army. I never got much into D1 though either. But I find it much easier to control 1 character and level up and build on him, than rebuild an army every map.

OK let me redo what I said earlier.
I received a mail back from EA support. They gave me a new "code' for the boots, said I should be able to get the staff now, and that fadeshear and shield were not available for PS3.
Well I removed everything (just as though I hhad just bought it) and started from the beginning. Still no boots or staff. Not sure where to go now ! However I am going to play the game (because it is very cool and better than origins, in my opinion) and not let this bother the game play! Anybody comes up with anything magic.....

I would say let them patch a new update with both ea and bioware compatible too the email addresses of ea and psn. I shall be asking every day from here on out until i get my blood dragon armor... i want to play my warrior with the armor... please...

Latest I got from them is that it is a big issue and they are working diligently to make a fix for everyone having this problem. Probably a patch or something

I'm confused, under my registered items on the bioware page it lists the Prothalan Staff for PC and X360 but it's not flagged for the PS3... Which is the system I play on.... Has a fix been mentioned? It's greyed out in the unlockables and is NOT in the chest...

So I received an email from (the mythical) Tier 3. Asked me for the same info that is in the chat log on the same ticket he emailed me about......chat log was right under his email....so I guess he just didn't read it.

As for an update I have only this to say.... I'm very dissatisfied with all but one contact I've made with EA, this is a pathetic excuse for customer services.
I do have one question though, can you give the live chat people a reference number they gave me from the phone?

Not really a technical issue or anything but by accident I entered my e-mail incorrect with no way that I know of to change it meaning I can't get my bonus content. Any help would be appreciated.

well ive got a list of unlockables on my bioware account and my psn id/ ea account are linked but still only getting 3 items in the chest in the house, not the 8+ items listed on my account , even registered my game. the main menu shows my correct ea account email address and the correct psn id but the unlocks are not in the chest , emailed EA and have received a few responses but nothing fixing the problem... not sure what else can be done.

Awesomness, I have a simple fix for you. Simply call 1-628-650-1001, it's the EA support phone line, and while they're fairly useless at other things, this is one problem they CAN help you with.
And Lokitos, you are NOT alone, nearly everyone in this thread is having the same problem,

The EA Guys told me to
Clear cookies n Cache on my ps3.
Tried that... didnt work.

Check I have the correct account registered on my ps3 and DA2
Done... they are correct etc.

I even recorded a video with my iPhone, showing the main menu of DA2, the account it is connected to, and my extras' menu.
Im waiting to get a reply from them.


All of their tech support knowledge and info comes from a copy and paste wiki their staff use.
Im guessing I just have to press the issue, until they escalate it high enough.

I hear that EA programmers are working on a mass patch that they'll release once it's done. In essence all we'd have to do is start the game, and it would do that "There is new content that must be downloaded" thing that the PS3 does, and they claim it will fix this problem. We shall see.

Well after receiving 1 email from tier 3 requesting more info, i emailed them the requested info and got a response stating that this is a complex matter and they are working diligently to fix it.... So tier 3 has the same exact answers as the chat and phone support guys have.

I still havn't gotten my email from Teir 3 yet, but yeah, supposedly the programmers are making a patch. we'll see how that goes I suppose
