Confused about how to unlock / install / access your Promo Items & DLC

I just happened to see this topic, I made my own the other day, I am not trying to double post, just thought this may be the place for mine.

I searched around and cannot find an answer.  I put my code for Signature edition items in, I got the Exiled Prince and Black Emporium.  It also showed I downloaded the Signature Edition Rewards. 

However when I look at my profile's registered game content, it is now showing the Adder of Antiva, Apostate's Courage, Might of Sten, Ring of Resilience, and Seeker's Bulwark.

Any Ideas?

Nope, we're all waiting on EA t ostop being lazy and finish this damned programming patch or just fix the problem. I've lost all respect for their problem-solving department.

I flat out told the tier 3 guy that if i gave customer support like this in the navy, i would be court martialled for sure

I'm having a problem with the Staff of Parlathan. I redeemed the code here on the social (before you suggest internet or email they're connected with my PSNID). But when I go to see my registered content it only shows that the Staff is registered for Xbox and PC. I don't have the game for either of those platforms. so that doesn't help me. I want my male Hawke to use it.

My latest reply from EA come as follow:

I should have known not to keep my hopes up since it seems everyone getting the same answer :blush:.
Not getting item is the least of my problem now, since I just realize isabella bug corrupting my hawke :pinched:

I will try to delete my DA2 data (not save data) from the ps3 and hopefully the email thing somehow got reseted and I can get my item.

I got the EXACT same email.... i replied rudely to them about how their support sucks and they offered me the free game. Deleting the game data doesnt work btw, i tried.

Want to inform that out of blue today I receive my staff of parthalan just now. I am pretty sure I didnt do anything for it to appear, just log in like usual. Hopefully other ppl receive the staff as I am.

Now I am waiting for other item to appear, including items that I unlocked from face book :D,

Good Job EA btw :D

Any new info on the problems. It seems everyone that changed thier email got the same problem. You'd think that since its obvious what the problem is they could just fix it.

I tried to do another chat session with them and by the end of it the guy gave me two key codes to try them disconnected and ended the session. I was jacked. Anyway tried the keys and both didn't work. Im getting pretty upset with this.

I got another response today telling me to do the same thing about deleting my saved game content. Then he also told me to try to delete my cookies and cashe on my PS3. I havent got a chance to try that yet, but they keep telling me to do the same thing. I'll keep you posted with anything further.

I only got 1/9 unlockable premium content items. I'm not even going to bother with contacting ea with this since no one is getting help with it. Black empoirum unlocked fine for me. in my journal i have all the premium content "quests" and when i go to my home I see the quest arrows above the chest but i can't target it to take anything out, i'm in act 3 as well so waiting for later in the game shouldnt be a problem. just wait for an update for da2 i guess?

I cleared my cookies and cache and it did not help anything.  So far it seems like they keep telling me to do B.S. attempts because they have not figured it out yet. 
But you can try to see if it helps you.
First go into your network section and then internet browser on the PS3, then hit the triangle button to bring up the side menu.  Next go to tools and from there you can delete cookies and cache. 

I emailed them again and now waiting for another response.  I'll keep everyone posted on what they tell me.  Good Luck

hey guys....this is uh monday morning 1am...i bought my game around 7pm saturday and i already have my stafff of parthalan :D
go to this link dragonage.bioware.com/da2/info/parthalan/redeem/
log in with your ea account or w/e
click on the Bonus Items link.
look to the left and click Staff of Parthalan and then it will ask you to sign up for the Dragon Age newsletter....do that and then once thats done it says that it should say staff of parthalan in your redeem items list or w/e... then i just had to restart the game and BOOM ive got it :D. i never would have gotten it if it werent for my snooping through everyone else's posts though, so thanks guys!!!

when you first go to the site it asks for your birthdate....i made mine say i was 21 (had to do this on my phone) cause on my comp i did my real birth date and it wont let me enter the site.... so if you arent 18 or so....just go with 21 for good measure ^_^

I received a response today from EA. They advised me that they still have not resolved my issue and advised me that they are referring me to the senior staff for further assistance. So I guess now I just have to wait to see what they tell me to do. I'll keep everyone posted, and I hope everyone else does the same. Good Gaming.
