Confused about how to unlock / install / access your Promo Items & DLC

i got that problem that i cant see my items i get from facebook...i got the war dog and black emporium thing.... but i havent got that speciel shield or sword u get when u buy the signatur edition....and my bioware and EA acc. / mail is the same also when i log into dragon age.....but they not there....and all of the sudden i cant contact EA support...they ask me to log in to their side and when i does it says its the wrong ID i use -.-' any other of u maybe know how to get the items from facebook and that ?

I've had a ticket open with EA, for 2 weeks now - no response.

Please will Biobear sort this out.
My items are in my promo list on these forums, but they never appear in game or in my unlockables section of these forums.

Well I'm showing items unlocked for the 360 and PC/Mac when i play Dragon Age 1+2 on my PS3. :unsure:

Someone help me understand why The Antivian Garrote, The Irons, and The Ring of Whispers don't show for my PS3 account please?:(

According to where i was supposed to purchase them from i shouldn't have even received them. I'd rather have them taken off if i didn't earn them correctly.

For those who can't redeem Sig Ed. DLC(Black Emporium/Dog) because of "incorrect code" issue, talking to the Tech support online(EA website) worked out fine for me.

He asked me to take a picture of my game manual and code, with signature and date. Then gave me 2 New codes to try. One of them worked. The conversation took only 30 minutes.

The Tech support person write weird replies sometimes but it worked out fine. If you are having trouble getting email response from them, try this method. (Might want to prepare the picture beforehand)

Well I contacted EA tech support via phone today. I was on with them for about 45 min. and my problem is still unresolved. I am confident now that I actually spoke with someone that we are on the same page as far as my problem. In case you haven't read the previous posts, I changed my PSN signon to a different email address and then have not been able to receive any DLC after the change.

The tech tried to add an entitlement to my previous email account to see if it would unlock for me in game. It did not work. The tech advised that this did work, however, on Xbox. So, if anyone is having the same problem with Xbox contact EA by phone and they may be able to help. The tech advised me that he was going to send the problem up to tier 3 and they would email me within 72 hours. He told me that they only respond by email and that I would not be able to speak with anyone over the phone from tier 3.

So in a nut shell, my problem did not get fixed but hopefully it will soon. Overall I was pleased with tech support on the phone he was trying his best to help and went through a lot of different steps to try to resolve the problem.

I will keep everyone posted on the outcome.

When I talked to tech support today on the phone I asked him if the patch coming out would fix the DLC problems.  He told me that he did not think it would, and said the patch is to fix the problems in the game.  He said the DLC problems were on thier end of it with their servers.

@MoTeets, ha I was thinking the same thing, then I beat 1st run through last week. Got an email just now saying mine is fixed.... they lied. nothing changed at all.

I got an email from the third tier tech from EA yesterday. They requested my old email address that my PSN was linked to and which items I was missing from the DLC. I provided them with the information and am still waiting for another response. Hopefully they get this fixed.

I received all of the DLC that I was supposed to get except for two. I sent her an email back and advised her of the additional two that needed to be unlocked. So whatever she did it worked. And all of my problems seem to be solved, except the two unlocked items yet. But it was better than having only three of the 15 I was supposed to have.

Additionally, I would like to add that if your having this problem and are pretty far along in the game, the DLC items are not as good as the items that I already had. So it was kind of disappointing, and would have helped more at the beginning of the game. Good luck to everyone and I'll be checking back periodically to see if I can be of any assistance.

They sent me another email and said they were aware of the problem with changing the PSN persona to another email. They said they were working on fixing the problem. They told me to log into bioware with my old email my PSN was linked to and redeem any further items through there. I dont know if this will work though because I just downloaded Mass Effect 2 and the blood dragon armour is only showing up through that email, not my new one. Well just have to see what happens and wait for them to fix it.

Just throwing my info out there.

I've been able to receive all of my dlc except for my signature edition bonuses. I did everything correctly, and originally had to have someone from help.bioware.com unlock my Blood Dragon Armor and a few other things.

How many hoops do I have to jump through? As if the Facebook game weren't bad enough.


EDIT: Oh, and I still can't get my Ser Isaac's armor either. Haven't heard about a fix for that either.

Just an update, I did the Live Chat with Bioware support and I got my signature edition stuff. I still can't access my Ser Isaac armor. I'm going to keep trying, I guess.

EDIT: Nevermind....she messed something up and gave me the wrong code. It doesn't work for the PS3.

Received an update:

My ticket was elevated to the highest level of support. They've managed to get me every bonus item I'm owed except the signature edition stuff and the Ser Isaac armor.

They said it'd be about 48hrs. I'll update if everything works out or not.

Well good news for me. I was able to get all of my DLC issues resolved. Teir 3 was very helpful. I would suggest anyone having further issues to contact them via phone. It seemed to get things started in the correct path quicker. Good luck and keep gaming.

i dont have the entitlement for blood dragon armor in da-o why is that since my char is wearing it got it ages ago but it wont show up ergo i cant get it in my da-2 eighter? ;(
