Got my code for Amulet of Ashes from Play.com (pre-order retailer exclusive), but it does not unlock for PS3. Have not tried contacting support yet, but might do soon if I don't buy the standard PC version. For some reason Play.com managed to lose my PC game in the mail, despite my brother getting his preorder version at the same time I got my PS3 version...
Any opinion on how effective they will be on fixing my missing entitlement? "Somehow" I have doubts after reading this thread...

my experience trying to solve this problem through ea customer support has been unbelievably stupid. nobody i have talked to has any idea of how to solve a real problem outside of asking me to delete game data and reinstall it. their incompetence reached in all time high when they provided me with content coded for all the items on pc. fat lot of good that does me. i initially tried to solve the problem through chat, and after 45 mins in the que line, and 2 and a half hours having me do any number of mundane delete and start over tasks (the last of which occuring right before the ps3 network went down leaving me without exiled prince and black emporium for the entirity of the outage), nothing anyone tried did any good. i was escalated to a tier 2 "specialist" and spent an additional 2 hrs performing the same tasks. at the conlusion he said he would escalate it to a tier 3 and that i would be contacted by email or phone. i was contacted by neither. ever. not once. so a week later i signed into chat again, and after another 45 min que, was passed onto another tier 2 "specialist" who repeated all the same steps and than claimed to be transferring me to tier 3 when nothing worked. he than essentially disconnected me. infuriated, i called ea support to rip them a new one as much in person as i could manage, and i too, was offered a free game, and i declined. i emphasized that i sincerely doubt that there were any ea game available that i wanted to play that i did not already own, and that my concern wasnt for recieveing "free stuff" to get me off their backs. it was to recieve the stuff i had already essentially paid for by participating in their promos. he than gave me the same song and dance about this fabled tier 3 escalation i keep hearing about, and that i would be contacted in 48 hrs.
it has been 2 months. granted, for a long period there was nothing anyone could do with the psn being down, but still. for a problem that existed within a week of me playing the game escalating to a problem that people essentially hang up on me when i call, and ignore my emails other than the generic automatic "i play games too" response from their "specialists" is simply ridiculous. i have the manuscripts of every chat session i had and am serioulsy considering posting them all over these boards but still hold out hope for a resolution. during one conversation you can see where an ea rep blatantly lies to me 3 times. once being caught in the lie by accidently responding to someone elses chat in my chat. these guys are not geniuses.
so here i am. its june, and i cant seem to be granted access to any of the stuff i was promised by ea and bioware back when i purchased this game. out of curiosity, i was not shocked to realize taht i have no problem being granted access to anything that is paid for. the item packs, the exiled prince, etc. all of that shows up just fine. just none of this free promo crap they promised. quite frankly, i can only draw one conclusion about both ea and bioware from this experience. not only do they not keep their promises, but it would appear they do not care to. if they did, someone who represented them would at least contact me and lament about their difficulties finding a solution. instead i am ignored and disregarded. thanks for the awesome experience guys. i promise i wont forget it.

For all those experiencing this issue, the problem is likely that the "unlockables" menu is not properly reflecting what is actually unlocked on your account right away (it will eventually).A possible solution is also taken from Luke's post:

If your account is entitled to any particular item you should do the following:

So, check to see if the items you have unlocked are in Gamlen's house first before requesting any further help. They might actually be there and the status between what you've already unlocked and what should be shown in the game's Extras menu is simply just delayed.
- Verify that your EA Online account directly matches your Social.Bioware.com account login
- Verify that you are in fact logged in to the EA Online Account
- Go to Gamlen's House in lowtown and check inside the Special Deliveries chest for your items
I Have done everything here and was on chat with someone from EA for hours and they couldnt fix any of it. they told me to post here and wait for the developers to sort it out. i am having the exact same issue as Exile00, but not only with one item but with 8, 3 of them appear but the other 5 dont seem to. i have made a new topic that explains it better.

You should have been provided with a cdkey during the purchase process, please enter it below. The digital cdkey looks like 1111-2222-3333-4444-5555. (you do not need to include the dashes when entering your key).

Same here. Also, as with most everyone in this thread, some of my unlockables are not unlocked.
I just spent most of the past month trying to get my EA/PSN ID situation sorted out, and really don't want to
have to contact EA again, as it doesn't seem to have helped anyone else.

I have it for PS3, so I don't have a CD Key and all of my PC games I have physical copies of so they came with CD KEY inserts.
@Zan It has been a year now and I never got majority of my unlockables, I eventually just gave up.

I'm having the same issue as well, and not to mention that I got the game a few weeks ago and the Online Pass got expired. For the last three days, I've been looking for help and how to find a solution without getting upset. But wherever I go, try to e-mail the staff, or look for help.ea, nothing is helping. No call staff is available, I can't e-mail them, I end up going to a link that wants me to log in in which it gets denied.
I could really use some help.

I just purchased all the DLC's and item packs from the PSN store using the account linked to my e-mail address and my EA account even says that its linked to the right account but after I downloaded and installed all the packs and checked in game it hadn't picked up that i have any of the downloadable content installed at all. Considering it was brought from the PSN Store and is linked to the same account I dont understand whats causing them to not show up.
I'd love some help on this asap as i'm off on holiday and was hoping to actually have the full game to play.
