Hi, I keep having what appeared to be a random freezing issue where the game would stop, but the audio continued.  Then my monitor would shut off as if there was no signal.  Once in a while the game would come back, but usually I would have to restart the PC.  Once or twice I saw a Server Disconnect message and figured it could have something to do with it.

I checked the Logs and saw these messages consistent with every crash/freeze..

Error You have lost your connection to the Dragon Age servers. You will be unable to access online features of the title until you connect again. [3;800e0000(SDK_ERR_SERVER_DISCONNECT)]

I do not think  my crashes are related to my PC specs but I wil post em anyway..

Win XP 32 bit
4 GB Ram(3.25 usable)
AMD Athlon II X2 245 2.91 ghz
ATi Radeon 4770 512 mb latest drivers
1600X900 resolution

Again the game never slows down or shows signs that my system can't handle it. I am running lowest settings and  get same results..  I also keep myself logged out, but then get the error in the log anyway.. I am guessing the game try sto connect to the servers for some reason??

I already ordered a Quad core processor, but for some reason I don't think this will fix my issue.. we'll see..

Anyone else having a similar issue?

This is happeneing to me but without the freezing. I have a quad core processor. I just can't log in and authorize my stuff.

Since the OP had asked for folks with the same exact problem, your answer wasn't helpful to him.  If you want to fix your own problem, you need your own personal post, with your own problem report included.  This does require a certain amount of personal participation in the process, because it's a PC and not a gaming console.  Piggyback comments don't work for diagnosing problems.

I'm not going to do the reading for you but it seems that the problem was fixed in the graphic card drivers that were released since. What version are you using?

I am have a dissconnect issue and I call ea several time. They just simply can't fix the problem for what ever the reason. Today when I talked to EA, they told me that bioware nows about this issue that only a few people have and are working on the problem with some type of update, not patch 1.03. To the answers above (video card driver), NO it is not the graphic card driver at least for me. EA, verified that on my computer.
