A little way through act 2 you confront a really annoying templar - main story NOT companion quest. It's stats are great but you look like an idiot.
wait do you get the whole set? or what

Just played a little further and got some plate armor that almost as good anyway so I'm using that with mix and match other pieces.

However, Bodahn, by design, only sells one "armor" piece. So the chances of it actually generating the templar armor you want is slim. Do any other vendors sell templar gear? I just need the gloves and I'm ready. I got the helmet from him as well, but I don't want the helmet.

I think the templar gear looks great. It just doesn't look right without the gloves.

Unfortunately, that merchant only sells Light Issue armor, which requires dex and cunning to equip. It makes sense, since that merchant sells gear for thieves, but I had hoped to get my Heavy Issue gloves. I also recall reading that you only get sent the chest armor from Merideth.Veryl01 wrote...
There is a merchant on the docks that sales the whole set. Well, I've seen 3 different pieces there. I think it was act 2 I saw them. I also heard that if you side with Meradith she will mail you the whole templar set. I'm not sure when though.
Do any vendors sell heavy issue templar armor?

But you only get that mission if you kill Ser Kerras instead of giving him the bloodmages in Act 1/

I think its dumb that they dont have the helmet. Its so badass!!!
I got the helmet from that quest where Ser Thrask asks you to help him to convince some escaped apostates to surrender before the Templars arrive. I killed the Templars and one of them had the helmet.
EDIT: I just did that quest again and didn't get the helm, just a sword, but i'm sure it's possible to get the helm, i'm just not sure which Templars drop it.

Merchant-wise I've seen the merchant at the Gallows sell Templar mace - Standard Issue and Templar Great Sword like someone else mentioned. The shady merchant at the docks I've seen sell Standard Issue Templar mace and longsword, Light Templar armor pieces (helm, gauntlets, and boots so far). It also should be noted that these two merchants will randomly spawn Templar gears even in Act 1, but from what I've seen it's really low chances.
In Act 2 the quest with the kidnapped Qunari delegation, there's a chest right before the encounter with a booby trap that spawns randomized Templar gear at low chances. I've been reloading that instance to see what pieces it spawns. So far I've had it spawn 1 Templar gauntlet - Superior Issue, 1 Templar Defender - Superior Issue, and 2 Templar Armor - Superior Issue out of maybe 15 reloads...but I haven't really kept track how many times I reloaded the instance.
Update: The chest in Varnell's hideout seems to only consistantly spawn the Templar armor at a higher rate then others. It also spawns the Templar helm, but I have not been able to get it to spawn another Defender or gauntlets out 20 reloads. I also have not seen it spawn Templar weapons or greaves, so this leads me to believe that the chest's drop list probably only include randomized Templar helm/chestpiece/gauntlet/shield pieces.

The fastest and easiest way to get a full set of Templar equipment for a warrior would be...
Bodahn in Act I; For Defender shield primarily and any other gear you can get him to spawn...
Shady Merchant in Act II; For any gear you may be missing...
Can I get confirmation or a better answer than this? Whoever gets me a full set will be an hero.
