Ok, well I just read that if you do Anders personal quest in act 3, called Justice, that he'll blow up the chantry in the final battle. Is that true? Does that mean if I don't want the chantry blown up and the grand cleric killed, I have to avoid that quest?

i think he'll blow it up either way. If you want him in your Party at the end, you have to do his Quest, though.

you can help him with the quest or he will go do it on his own.
