**Bump**

Using PC (DW rogue), Fenris, Varric/Isabella, and Ander at the moment. Anywhere that lists the builds for those characters?

well i can tell you for varric what you want for varric is to get is either the precision or speed skill to either give him some attack speed or crit these skills are on the specialist tree then get blindside from the scoundrel tree and the proceed to get skills from the archery tree and make sure to max out all of the skills in the archery tree and proceed to get all the skill in his main tree where the rival and friendship skills are at and in that tree you will see a skill that looks like a drum you need to get that skill as soon as possible.

I think that is difficult for anyone to post about that topic because builds works or not in the context of the party you use that build for and level of difficulty. For example, a very good build guide is the 2H/vanguard/RT/Nightmare one because it not only covers in detail how to level up your charachters and what not but also how to level up and use your NPCs.

For example: my party is made of Aveline, Isabela, Varis and Mage Hawke. My Hawke is specialized in CC and AoE spells (so Elemental and Force and planning to take some other spells here and there to take advantage of CCC).

Aveline has some monstruos defense and is a good support charachter for CCC and sustained/passive abilities and asks no micromanage at all... but at a cost... she makes no damage.

So I need two rogues, one ranged and one melee, to make serious DPS, to manage threat more efficiently (Isabella is great for that role with the right skills) and make the most out of CCC. So, my party builds will be different than what other players might choose.

In general, I think that for rogues and warrios you can't do wrong if you upgrade first and foremost the main weapon tree + NPC tree (aiming especially to passive ability). I buy upgrades only for ability involved with CCC or with especially good bonuses. Then when you maxed out those threes with the skill that you want, you can spread out a little bit choosing the ability that suits the strategy of your party picking here and there (most rogues and warrior line are in a sense mutually exclusive). For Mages NPC, the story is different and depends on what you want to focus on... support+buff or cc+aoe?

Honestly, the greater problem I'm having is the distribution of attribute points for NPCs. As a rule I try to do something like this: 1:1 for the two primary attributes. I completely ignore the suggested secondary and spend 3 points in willpower every 5 level or so, especially if I see that I'm getting short of stamina (I have some problem managing stamina for warriors and rogues).

For Fenris, you can build him very similarly to the "Ultimate Vanguard" build, which has a nice detailed thread: http://social.biowar.../index/6396096. Just replace the reaver and templar stuff with his personal tree and you get a very effective Fenris.
