I enjoyed it alot. Though was scared at how Alistair and Teagan's face had changed, I guess 7 odd years does that to you.

About the whole Nate thing, choosing the default background (First one) in the import section will get you Nate, but yes it is bugged because he always thinks the Architect is alive.

I wish Alistair and Leliana's cameos were longer, but they were still enjoyable nonetheless. It's cool to see how different their faces are with the updated graphics and the fact that 7 years past since we last saw them. I also saw Zevran and helped him against the Crows, so I guess I'll be seeing him at the end of the game once more.

I was really looking forward to the cameos. But then I saw how awful Alistair's and Zevran's faces looked, and I wished they hadn't been in the game. Neither of them looked anything like they should have; I easily created a much better Alistair clone with the DA2 character creator. It's like they didn't even try :(

That being said, it was kinda cool to see them all I guess, and it was nice to see that Alistair and my female warden were still happily married :)

Alistair's cameo was almost forgettable to me until he said "swooping is bad" again.

I hated how he looked, like I was seriously surprised that that was Alistair.
But I SUPER appreciated the awkwardness that Isabella brought to the table. In the save I imported she'd had a threesome with Alistair and my warden. She referenced it, Alistair was awkward, I laughed.

Yea' so having met drunk Alistair...too great loved every minute of it...King Alistair proved he was still useless as he ever was. "This city needs a Viscount." "That's great you should totally endorse me." "Oh I don't think I could really help with that." -.- Really?

Alistair...so useless

I imported a queen save, and looking past his botox filled dough face, the meeting was going well until he said, "time to get back to the old ball & chain". Really, writers - ball & chain? It was a chance to do something the players would have appreciated a lot, instead we get that. *eye roll*

He was joking. :/

I appreciated that line heap-loads. It's nice to think Alistair and my old Cousland still had some fun with their romance. :)

The only thing I could have done without was Bann Teagan's change of eye colour. At least I think it was a change? I'm sure they were blue in Origins.

I really enjoyed Leliana's cameo, too. It was one of the only ones this forum didn't spoil for me.

You meet Nathaniel in Act 3 if he survived DA:A. You get Fool's Gold(rescue some dwarves in the Deep Roads) if you didn't recruit him/he died. Apparently the Martyr preset background also lets you meet Nataniel.

Alistair is older and had to quit training/fighting to be king.

Makes sense that he'd look a little different.

Not sure if it's been mentioned yet explicitly in this thread, but Bioware is aware of the bug with Nathaniel saying the Architect lives when you killed him, and they are working on fixing it.

As for the face changes.. Zevran I agree looked bad... but Alistair, to be totally honest I don't see where you all get your complaints.  He looks mostly the same to me.

It's like, Alistair's face doesn't move from his forehead to his upper lip. Only his bottom lip moves when he talked. His whole face was very lifeless.

I really liked that part. Alistair was always my best friend or love interest in DAO. He looked puffy though. I would have told him look I know Queen Anora is an icy wench but that"s no reason to keep hittin the sauce. I also loved the part with Leliana during one of Bastis companion quests. Zevran looked like he got hit in the face with a hatchet.

i really liked King Alistairs appearance. it threw me right back to the nights in the camp (and on the road) with him. i miss those guys so much! and they aren't even real!

yeah he looked weird, but once he opened his mouth, it was him through and through.

No kidding. That is something I have to give credit to Bioware for. I'm always able to form a relationship with the characters in the Dragon Age games, which is something I don't do in most games. In my personal opinion, I'd love it if in Dragon Age III your champion got to fight with Alistair at least once.

I didn't really feel like they messed him up visually, I was able to tell who it was instantly. He did get a little puffier but that happens a lot with age. My Alistair didn't take the throne or marry anyone so it was cool to see him leading the Grey Wardens and taking care of my sister. Curious as to if anyone knows, was the amulet that Alistair gave me, Duncan's or my Warden's (who died killing the archdemon)?
