[Vaydos]

Quest "Wayward Son" is broken. Told to go inspect the slavers
bodies, however there is nothing present nor in the chest where the
fight took place. There is no way to continue and I cannot abandon this
quest to continue along playing the game.

Very disappointed.

I am having the same issue. I have every quest finished except Wayward Son. The quest is highlighted and is showing me to visit Samson in the Low town at night. When I talk to him he speaks but the quest is not completed. HELP!!! It does not let me continue with out this quest being completed. Is the game broke? Are there others with this issue?

same problem here with wayword son. I try and talk to Samson he talks but you don't actually go in for questioning so you can't complete. I have played for awhile since that quest bugged and I keep trying but have had no luck.

I may have a solution. The issue is the game is not showing the correct way to finish the quest order as required. Go to this walkthrough http://mycheats.1up...._age_2/xbox_360
and follow the quest in the order as shown. I know this is not the walkthrough for the ps3 version, but the quest is the same order and It does work.

had same issue with next stage of quest glitching.

If you talk to Thrask then talk to Sampson the game glitches and the quest marker stays on Sampson or glitches the slavers and the quest cannot be completed.

(Spoilers-will be as vague as possible)

The only work around i've found is to talk to the dad,then sampson,then go to Thrask and question him and he will send you to sampson.

Now the quest marker will still be on Sampson but you can go straight to the docks go 2 the private dock building(the one in link above) and you should be able get the info you need to finish the quest and the slavers at the end will not be glitched.-hope this work's for you,it did for me.

Weird,but I have never encountered the exact problem.I've played the first act for the second time,and I have had no problem so far.I've tried talking to both Thrask and the boy's dad,then spoke to Sam(tried both coerce and bribe solution),proceeded to Dock,killed some enemies,got the slaver's location in Darktown,squashed the slavers and obtained a secret passage in Wounded Coast.Entered the cave,killed the slavers and the quest was completed.Perhaps you guys should go check on the Dock?

I've checked every point of interest in the entire questline. Nothing.

Same issue...Very frustrating. Any bug that actually prevents a player from proceeding is completely unacceptable. Has anyone heard if this supposed patch in the works will fix it? Haven't been able to find any specifics in the announcement thread.

Crazy, after 1 year & patch 1.05 this glitch is still not fixed. Sad... I've got the coin and map to move on, but the quest says i have to search the slaver bodies that don't exist... why can't Bioware just make this quest optional? Any moderators still addressing stuff like this?
