How do I look ahead instead of down? I am using a Mac bluetooth reduced-size keyboard (without number pad) and a magic trackpad. I got the two finger swipe up / down moves the camera overhead or in close. However, when I am in close, it seems that my character is looking down at the ground. How do I force the camera to look ahead instead of at the floor? Thanks.

Well I use the right mouse button (click and hold) to move the camera to desired angle and distance... if you don't have a mouse... Ctrl+touch/drag?

cmd-drag.
Must say that the targeting is rather hard in DA2, sorely missing that overhead mode. And I don't see the purpose of the left drag select box, would rather see that one as the camera movement. But all that is kinda off topic.

How well does it work with the track pad for gaming?
I've been wanting to get the track pad but I have been holding off

Thank you all - both suggestions worked -- I am glad I asked, because I didn't see it in the options as a configurable possibility. The touchpad works well for this particular game on the Mac side, however, it didn't respond well enough on the native install of Win 7 with DA1. I wrote to Steve Jobs asking for a trackpad with a usb cable to reduce the lag time caused by bluetooth, but I realize he has been rather busy this year.

IMO, it's ok with trackpad, but I prefer using the mouse when I have one available.

I'm probably too engrained with mouse and keyboard to relearn.
The trackpad seems sweet but still I see no killer app for it. No reason where the latest magic mouse isn't as good or better. I suspect Lion will change that...
