Berserker Warrior bug?

Is there a bug in the Warrior Berserker specialization? I reached level 14 and activated the build and put 1 point in to allow me to have the sustained extra damage for stamina ability. While playing I noticed I was never running out of energy then I realised everytime I killed an enemy I gained a chunk of energy? I know this is one of the abilities that you can get from this tree but I have yet to get that far into it so why am I getting energy?

At first I thought it was because of the increased stamina regen but then realised it only goes up when I kill an enemy.

That's...how it works for warriors. Warriors only regenerate stamina when you kill enemies, but obviously since it only triggers on enemy deaths you get a lot more. Basically, Bioware re-packaged Death Blow into an innate class characteristic.

The stamina gains are really buggy with the Warrior.  There are plenty of instances where I kill 1-3 enemies at once and never get any stamina back.

Ehh some buggy stuff here and there but everyone does have some base regeneration, warriors don't gain 'just' on kills. Its just that there base regeneration is so ****-all-poor its not even remotely worth thinking of.

At base though (when it works) its 5% min your max stamina per kill, per rank. So normal is 5% (critters an 'easy' 5%). Elites is 10%, bosses 15%. Last berserker passive adds another 5% per rank on so 10% base, 30% off bosses.

It's nice but in my experience warriors don't run out of stamina in group fights cause of the mooks they kill quick and run out of stamina on bosses and have to chug potions to get it back. Either way its not a bug. Berserk its self (the sustained) is at its best when fighting large groups as you can kill them faster, and thus, keep the sustained mode going longer.

Against bosses its kinda nice but your better off using your stamina for things that don't suck. Small boost to dmg that dwindles cause your fighting just isn't as nice as say, 100% dmg for 15 seconds every 20 seconds for only 20 mana. I got a bit of a mild hatred for the poor design on Berserk compared to every other skill. Shoulda been a combo-like system while it was up that cost mana per hit...losing damage for fighting is just ****ing stupid.
