 I'm a mage, and have anders, fenris and verric and can't defeat the Ancient stone wraith.  Does anyone have any pointers please.

Also have console commands been enabled yet to assist with this and if so how???

Hide behind the pillars to avoid his rays of doom?

He's not really that hard on Casual/Normal. Drop it down if you have to. Also, like the above said, just wail on him, keep healing your tank (I use Aveline, she rocks as a tank), and hide behind the pillars. One thing: do NOT area attack the Profane when they pop up, immediately. They go down fairly quickly anyway, but their blasts hurt and if they all blast your mage, they WILL go down fast. So one at a time instead of getting them all angry at you at once is a good idea.

Thanks I've been at it for hours and getting nowhere.

Have console commands been enabled in this game or not. As there is no toolset I've been wondering whether they will or not

Yeah I'm at this part and pretty screwed too... I didn't think much when I was picking a party... So I took myself (obviously.. but I'm a 2-h warrior), Isabella, Anders and Varric...
No tank is pretty lame, yeah, but I don't really like Aveline in terms of character so I didn' take her.

I used to kite during a boss battles, you know, whenever boss targets someone I pick that character and start running around in circles while others nuke him down, until he targets somebody else.
But it seems a little hard here, because he's using some insane AoE and ranged spells.

So yeah... I had just 1 try, and we barely hurt him, took him down to around 80%... Then those adds started to spawn, and at that point we got owned.

Thanks for the tips about the pillars, and exploding adds, I didn't know that. Here comes the second try.
