Not that I mind, im big fan of jrpg :)

But is it just me, or does new visual style ressembles more and more eastern style?
Animations are quick and almost-beyond human possibilities, more focused on being
badass then realistic, weapons are very unrealistic, butt they maintain some kind of coolness,
all the glowing skin of Faenir and Justice (actually Faenir looks and acts really like anime character),
but what striked me most is the ending battle with Meredith, style she moves, she fights,
especially those huge jumpes and transformers statues, where logic takes step back from
cinematism. I really enjoyed it, but id love to hear from some art guy from BW if my observation
is a bit right :D

Who's Faenir? It doesn't remind me so much of a jrpg as it does of the stylized realism look they're going for in swtor. I just don't see it.

that tevinter slave dude... I never get his name right :o
It might not be striking for anyone, I havent noticed that before ending and Meredith's craziness, but it felt very final fantasy-ish

Ofcourse, you need to understand its still western rpg and having argument "girls dont look like aliens" wouldnt reduce impact eastern culture had on new stylisation imo

In their use of negative space, I can see an Asian influence. I approve of it, but I don't think it's anime-like.

I can see where certain aspects of Fenris are reminiscent of a JRPG look, because he has a different hair color and because he uses a somewhat oversized weapons. However, all DA weapons are somewhat oversized, I can't see any similarities and art style.
