Had fun with my bouncing boy rogue with his twin daggers and roguishly good looks.  But it's time for another go.  Was thinking mage, but really, with three in the group already, it seems a bit much.  Archery rogue looks tempting, but I rather like having Varric around to mouth off.  SnS looks a bit of a bore, maybe 2H?

Any ideas?  What classes did you all play, and did you have fun with them?

Honestly, I was thinking the same as you two days ago about which to go next, and I just had to do mage. I did realize three in the group already was a bit much, but I knew that if I didn't play mage, I would never, ever put Aveline in my group just because I plain dislike her (she has great tanking skills in my opinion, but my gosh, she's just got the personality of a brick wall.)

I'm finding testing out strategies with the new Force Mage and the other interesting specializations are fun to tweak around. I had fun respeccing my rogue to see what worked well and what didn't, and I think I'd like to try Mage next, saving a very fun Warrior for last. So far? I'm loving playing a Mage.

In my opinion there's just nothing like respeccing a mage every 2 levels or so and trying something new and learning it again. Also discovering some very very cruel combinations of spells in the process!

However, I've tinkered around a little on warriors (not nearly as much as Rogue, and only slightly less as much as Mage) and found they can also have some really interesting tricks up their sleeves. I could see some cruel combinations coming out of the woodwork when I eventually try them... however, I think after Rogue, Mage would feel a little more at home since both the Rogue (even with all its defense) is still pretty fragile, and the difference isn't that great in trying to keep yourself alive if your looking for an easy transition in that regard.

Also, from what I've been testing and hearing, it somewhat seems like Archery Rogue is a tad bit boring right now? Not entirely sure if that's true, but just thought I'd toss it out there!

Hmm....respecing a mage when I get bored sounds like fun. And what the heck, might as well see what Carver is like as a character.

I had an absolute blast playing a mage....primal/healing based... so much fun.... but now I'm looking for something new to play... so I was thinking a female rogue too...but not sure?

Even though I'm enjoying warrior and mage, my all time favorite is really my Rogue. It has so many things it can do! It's just impressive to me that a Rogue can tank, self-heal for incredible amounts, hit with an assassinate or twin fangs for.. how much was it.. 1600? 3600? I can't remember, it was an insane amount that made my jaw drop and it was on certain boss fights or elite fights.

One of my favorite things to do as a mage, is focus down a high target, then with fully upgraded Walking Bomb I hit them with it, then use Force Mage's abilities to gather up a large group of foes right atop him, and finish him off so that its just one insanely huge burst of gore and blood all over the place. Absolutely hilarious.

Also.. haha, Medbh, it's good times at the Hawke household.

*PERSONALITY SPOILER* Carver kinda irritates the hell outta me. He's like a much more depressive version of Fenris. Carver is broody and angry and whiney, whereas Fenris is just this violent, angry, semi-broody individual.

my first playthrough was mage as it seemed canon.

now i'm doing fem hawke rogue.

third will be male warrior/fem warrior. can't decide.
