I could not find any search function so I just straight out post my problem in a new thread without pulling any more of my hair looking for such a function.
The problem happens right after, or by the end of the cutscene that comes after the deep roads ending and the part where the sister gets taken away, with the dwarf talking to a graphical depiction of the three years passing. The exact point seems to vary; it has crashed a couple of times at the end with the Qunari, one time in the beginning of the cutscene and one time the game began to load the level that was to come after the cutscene, but then crashed.
I get a black screen or an error message in windows, blinking back and forth between the black screen and windows until the whole system gets into a freeze. Two times I got a blue screen saying something about the graphics driver. All the times I've had to restart the computer.
I've tried a couple of different drivers. Had the 11.1 Catalyst until some day(s) ago when I updated to the 11.2 ones - got the game before that so played it both before and after. Thought at first that the drivers were the problem, even though a day or two passed (maybe 3-4 hours of playing) before I got this crash, and since been getting it on the same rough spot every time. I tried rolling back to the 11.1 drivers with no luck. Then tried the beta drivers linked from the direct11 problem thread in this forum. No luck. Same problem.
The only thing I can remember doing to my computer right before the game started crashing was pulling the plug on my second monitor, as I was going to use it for another computer instead. But surely, removing one of the two monitors on your system (never used by the game) couldn't cause this frantic crashing? Especially after sweeping and reinstalling drivers several times..
I should also mention that I played from right before the last battle in the deep roads the first time the game crashed, with no problems until the above mentioned spot. Later times I play from the last auto save, which is in the family house in the low town with the sister and that...

My specs are as follows:
Radeon 5870 HD from the ASUS brand
AMD Phenom II Quad core (the fastest speed available when I bought it about a year ago)
8 GB DDR2 RAM
Windows 7 64-bit

All settings maxed, High-res textures and all.. no performance drops at all in ~14 hrs playing time total..
