Well, I purchased this game for my son from Best Buy today and apparently it requires me to have an internet connection to register the game on his system.  My son's system is not on the internet, nor do I feel like stringing cables through that part of the house.  Nowhere on the box, does it mention that an internet connection and email account are "required" in order to play the game. 

After the last two hours of trying to do the installation, it brought back the flood of bad memories that I went through with the first DAO game and the Radeon crashing issues that we were left to figure out on our own.  I wonder why Bioware has such horrible issues with their games not working.  It seems like they put all of their effort into the game, and none into any type of configuration solutions.  I loved DAO, once it finally worked, that's why I thought my son would like when he asked for it for his birthday, but once again, I've been douped by Bioware, but it will be the last.  If I can't get this issue fixed in a couple of days, off it comes from the system and into the trash can. 

If the game requires an internet connection, it might be adviseable to list that on the outside packaging, so people know this BEFORE they buy it.

For the record, registration is also the reason you cannot post in Tech Support.

Tech forums require registration. If you look to the left of the page and go to Profile -> Register Games you should be able to get onto them.
