If it's okay with you, kaiki01, I've re-written your tutorial to (hopefully) be a little more newbie-friendly.

Thanks so much for putting that together! I tried it out to slap together a Teagan who's not quite right, but at least has
brown hair: http://i54.tinypic.com/zn1yt5.jpg
IMO, the DAO character creator was more flexible in terms of face shape. You just can't make those sunken cheeks quite right, or at all really in DA2's cc.
However, I'm not sure that the extraction from .mor to .mop is transferring all the data (that's also what I've gathered from this thread). Pretty much all that was preserved when I booted up the in-game Teagan to the cc preset was the hairstyle. The rest looked like the neutral preset face.
Unless someone figures out how to convert from .mor to .mop more gracefully, looks like the only advantage of working from the pre-existing model is to take custom hairstyles (ie, Aveline).
I've noticed the same thing, I think the best way is just to work from scratch for now instead with the custom CC that contain all the hairstyle.
Also, while we can extract faces from save files, is there a way to apply a .mor to my main character in a save?
