He didn't even get paid for that Deep Roads excursions... I thought I'd come back rich, but all I get back is my initial investment?

Yeah I felt there was too much tragedy in Hawke's life and not enough good things to balance it out I felt useless. Even when I reached the end of the game I didn't feel like a champion or a hero at all. When the Last Straw finally rolled around on both my times I've gone through the game so far I really didn't care what happened between the templars and mages. On my mage I was like let Carver and templars kill the mages. The only reason I could seen getting involved in anything in Act 3 was quest like Best Served Cold to save the important person to me or if Bethany had been taken to the Circle but that would of only been to protect her honestly not the other mages but she was made into a Warden on my rogue.

I was absolutely shocked at the ending of the game. It was even more terrible because I romanced Anders and had no idea what he was up to. Throughout the game I felt like I had made all the wrong decisions in life and was left with nothing... My Hawke ended up running off with Anders because it was the only thing she had left, thanks to getting herself mixed up in all the bulls*it neck-deep. Good thing she wasn't a particulary religious person.

So, yeah. Great life, constantly running away with a terrorist boyfriend who could become some sort of semi-abomination any time. Is it possible to just screw it all at the end and become a pirate with Isabela?! Because that sounds like the happiest ending Hawke could have...

Aw, come on now... did you see the prices for some of those items?  A little spending money would have been nice, even if it meant living in a slightly less grandiose house...

I just hope there is a direct sequel to this because there seems to me at least that there was so much left that could be done or explained, fleshed out or something. Maybe the Hero of Fereldan and Hawk meet up or Hawk helps Alister fight off those Orlisians?
