I was just playing the final fight against Meredith and about half way through I notice someone in green leather armor with dual Crow Daggers hacking away at one of the animated slaver statues. Upon closer inspection it turned out to be good ol Zevran! There was no reference to him after the battle either. Is this just a awesome bug/glitch or intended programming?
Sadly, I have no way to provide a picture or any shred to proof to this claim as I lack the necessary equipment to get you guys a picture. I have no reason to lie however and thought someone should know about this!
Zevran in the fight against Meredith WTF!?

It's accurate, you can get quite a few Cameos in that from from Aveline's husband, to Cullen.

Yep they'll show up to help in the final fight with Meredith. Seems like there's a lot of cameo's, I half expected Alistair to show up after I got a message to come pay him a visit. Have Avaline in your party and Donnic will show up.

Donnic assists if Avaline is on your side in the final fight vs. Meredeth. As are Nathaniel Howe and Zev if you helped them and left on good terms. I think the named NPC total on my "team" in that fight was: Nathanial, Zevran, Donnic, (the Templar Knight Captain), Sebastian, Merrill and my actual party of Aveline, Varric, Bethany and Hawke.
Pretty badass lineup, there. When I first saw Zev pop up and shiv someone coming up on my Hawke I cheered and fist pumped to an empty room.

Yea, Donnic, Cullen (Cullen is a given), Zevran, Nathaniel and Carver all have the potential to show up (and I am assuming Bethany too if she lives). Not sure who else pops up. I didn't summon my mabari that last fight because I didn't know if there was a limit (I think there is).
I was so proud of Carver when he told Meredith he wasn't going to kill his sister for her!
