Hi
I want to create custom rewards to select for a plot in the toolset. Can this be done from within the toolset? Or do I have to do this whole xls and converter thing that i only vaguely understand. If the latter, where do i put the converted xls? how is this going to fit into the DAZip that i read about for packaging up a module?
Thanks,
Daniel

You mean create a quest, and then create multiple possible rewards for completing the quest?
Yes, there's definitely a way since the Single Player campaign does this in a couple places, so you can definitely do it all within the toolset.
The way to do it, is in the complete quest part of the conversation tree, offer a couple conversation options with a script on each that then gives the appropriate item from what they selected.

well actually, its for experience rewards only. Thing is, I dont see any functions that allow you to increment a party members experience. I suppose I can just pick a standard reward that has an experience amount that is suitable to me.
As for items, that is easy enough to do since theres functions for giving items and just calling a script from dialog.

I did this using the 2DA file. I just picked an unused reward number gave it a name and followed the spreadsheet format. Run the exporter to your override directory for rewards.xls and it will show up in your selection options for plot rewards. Its pretty easy, IM me if you need help.
