Everyone will turn on you, regardless of friendship/rivalry with the exception of Dog, Anders (Justice protects him) and Sebastian that will refuse to enter the Fade.

Not your sibling. But yes, you're right. I had just always had overlapping teammates with me.

There are special circumstances, for example the sloth demon in Origins, all party members entered the Fade, some were fully aware that they are in the Fade.

And these game have "dying" and "dying", the one where resurrection spell works, and the one when doesn't :P

My understanding was that the party entered the Fade bodily, instead of the usual way. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to bring Varric, since dwarves don't have any connection. I guess when a body dies in the Fade it just wakes up.

Justice would turn on you if you accepted to deal with the demon.

Because your not in the fade per say... your in feynriels dream but being he is a dreamer it is linked with the fade (and thus are able to enter it via entering the fade). At least that was my understanding

You went to someone also dreams. To turn a mage tranquil you have to be in the mage dream, not someone also dreams.

I guess that is what you might call an error.

I took Anders in and the game seemed to avoid him turning on me, choosing the other two characters. Maybe if you take two mages the game is kind of forced to pick one despite the canon issue?

Side note: I like how Sebastian is not available to take in, since they didn't want to build a plot for him in there.

Anders is the only one that doesn't turn on you. Because A: It's not Anders, it's Justice. B: Anders seems to vehemently oppossed to any contact with demons.

It is a plot hole without a doubt, but with a little bit of (lame) hand-waving (making up lame excuses as an afterthought) you can force it to make some sense (just pretend it was the Keeper's doing).

If you don't want a spoiler, you shouldn't even come here until you play through the game once.

Stop being a jerk.

my guess is either she woke up before you could finish her in the fade or its just a plot hole.

It is Feynriel's dream - he is the only one that can be tranquil'led.

Feynriel's dream, so if he dies in the fade, he becomes tranquil. Anyone else just gets kicked out of the dream.

Not her dream.
You only become tranquil when you are killed within your own dream.

I think Templers, Keepers, and Blood Mages are the only characters who have rituals allowing them to enter a dreamers version of the fade so far.
So yeah, I have to agree with the others that only the dreamer is in danger of being made tranquil.

Varric, Fenris and Merrill turn on you when confronting the pride demon, Izzy and Aveline turn on you when confronting the desire demon. If you have, say, Fenris and Merrill together in your party, only one of them will turn on you.

That is kinda false, remember the Circle og Magi in Origins?
My dwarven warden had no problem with that quest.

Why post a spoiler in the damn title? Are you stupid?

Yeah, as the individual above me said, pay attention to the forum titles "Dragon Age II Gameplay and Strategy Forum (Spoilers)" if you don't wish for spoilers, don't look.

There's a story section to post things like this in. I don't understand how the fact that you enter the fade has anthing to do with ingame strategy. This is like the time when someone posted the topic, "Does your mother die no matter what?" People come to this forum because they need help on certain fights and may not have beaten the game yet.  By allowing spoilers in this section, it enables people to talk about specific fights without having their posts deleted or whatever. Giving away points in the plot is just abusive.

I don't remember if they were sent in "bodily", I didn't get that impression, though. But dwarves can be sent into the Fade just as well as anyone else (see The Broken Circle from DA:O, if you played as a dwarf) they just have no natural connection to it and do not travel there when they dream.

Checked this thread out, as I was curious on this topic.

As for the <spoiler> in thread titles, unfortunately this (and many other) message boards list the "most recent post in..." thread, on the main page.

That means someone could post "Your Mom get's turned into Frankenstein???" as their thread title, and it will show on the main forum page, if it's the last thread posted in, utterly spoiling it for anyone who notices.

Perhaps they need to remove that function from the main forum page.

Absolutely correct...Varric and Merrill (of all people!) are lured by the demon, but Fenris did not. And here Merrill is toying with a monstrous abomination she thinks she can control?!? Her apology was pretty weak...but I always give in to her charms, lol.:innocent:

I took Aveline and Anders and Isabella and only Isabella turned on me.  Aveline wasn't even asked.
