This is the launch trailer


I played the entire game and did not see the scene where it shows Hawke crying over Bethany or the huge Qunari fight between all your members at the end of the trailer.

Can anyone explain this to me?
Is this another show of false advertising?

Case in point the Sacred Ashes trailer from the first game. There are no Darkspawn on that mountaintop in the final game, and Sten's appearance is noticeably different as well. The trailer's job is to get you excited for the game, not to be entirely factual. A few mistakes or scenes from cut content here or there are common.

That is completely different, Sacred Ashes was entirely "cinematic" whereas this trailer for DA2 shows the gameplay graphics. Something like that.

Yes it would have been. I was hoping for something more along the lines of the battle with the Arishok from the opening video.
