So I have been going through and collecting all my different quests like I normally do and I finally decide to do Frenris' companion quest "Alone" the one where he meets his sister. There is a quest arrow over the Tavern but the title of the quest doesnt appear. Furthermore when i enter the tavern no cutscene begins and when I talk to Fenris he says nothing. I cant find the sister anywhere in the place (and yes I am doing it during the day). Could someone please help me!!

That's odd. The cutscene should automatically trigger once you enter the Hanged Man. Try completing the other quests first, maybe?

I didnt see any red head sitting at a table ::sigh:: its weird that its not activating... there is another minor quest that wont activate either... I made it too far to start over but I hate leaving quests unfinished...

Are you going during the day? Several NPCs that appear during the day don't appear at night.

Oh d'oh, this. I completely missed that part when the OP said she was doing it during the day. xD You're supposed to visit the Hanged Man during the night for it to trigger.

I figured it out finally. Apparently i just had to enter the Hanged Man from the street. If I used the quick travel it didnt work. x.x took forever to figure that out!

Nope, the OP was right to go during the day. The quest was just triggering oddly. The map travel worked fine for me. Fenris states outright that you MUST go during the day because that's when she'll be there.

Ah, then I remembered it wrong. Double fail? xD

Still, that's an odd thing. I'm sure that I accessed the Hanged Man via quick travel and it worked for me. Oh well, the important thing is that you got it to work now.

Glad I wasnt the only one who had that problem :3 but yea... it is strange but as long as my story moves forward i am happy!

First question would be. Did you do Fenris' Act 2 Quest where he found out about his Sister? You really didn't have to Necro an old thread to ask this by the way.
