I'm not sure if the topic has come up yet, but have any of you seens sandals prophecy. I think its a hint that in the next game or so we might place as the warden and morrigans child. It seems the canon ending for the default option is the god child. I'm sure the game can't be about him if you never took the ritual. So if it isn't him who could it be.








Also the warden, hawke, flemeth and morrigan are still missing at the end of DA2. A lot of people say warden couldn't be a future companion without a voice. But he had a voice actor in the trailers. Hawke has a voice. What would you think about them as companions to the god child. If not companions what about appearing in the story if you played as someone else.

What is your opinion of the direction the series is taking story wise.

For some reason, I assumed he was talking about the Maker returning or something. And the Magic coming back was about the old magic the tevinter mages or old gods used. Or maybe even about the Arthalan elves, their gods and magic.

So many questions. As for the direction, I like it, very mystique and keeps me asking for more info and hyping about the sequel. While DA2 wasn't as conclusive as DAO, it did add a very interesting spin to the series.

Now very... Nostradamus. That could mean any number of things. The god baby? The Maker? The next Archdemon? The Architect? The First Warden? He might even be referring to Hawke for all we know. I'm guessing Hawke.

Everyone will be just as they were. The shadows will part, and the skies will open wide.

Chantry go boom in a "opened sky / parting shadows" kind of way, resulting in a religion vs mage war just like in the days of Andraste. That's my take on that.

One day the magic will come back. All of it.

Rise in mage population plus mage uprising = magic coming back.

Maybe I'm not reading deep enough into this stuff or they're not as foreboding as they seem...

I'm really motivated to make a non-dark ritual import to see if he'll say the same but getting to act 1 is long. D:

Something is definately up with Sandal. He was also standing there alone just before the Arch demon battle of DA1, and the end battle of DA2. I think he is keeping an eye on the heroes.

Sandal creeps me out...and his little prophecy only makes me more certain that there is something up with him. When we came upon the ogre he froze, that seemed to be magic to me - despite the fact dwarfs cannot perform it. If it IS magic, maybe that's why Sandal is kinda out there.

Or he's just another crazy person who draws up prophecies.

No doubt there is more to Sandal than meets the eye. Why else put him the Warden's story, and then Hawke's - two people who changed, and saved the world?

I...never saw this. And my import was one where Loghain died to kill the Archdemon--no demon baby here. I think that adds evidence to this referring to the God Baby, especially considering I talked to Sandal a lot.

I don't remember any of that happening, and I imported a Warden who did the ritual... I remember something about a woman, but I assumed he was talking about Flemeth. My theory is that Sandal is related to Flemeth in some way. I don't mean, by blood, but it's weird how he just shows up with piles of dead demons and darkspawn, ready to help Hawke or the Warden at just the right time. I think he's some kind of pawn in her game.
