Does this do anything? I right-click it and it goes transparent, I click it again after some time and it turns solid. Is this some sort of in-joke or easter egg I'm missing, or a straight up bug?

It has a door icon that leads me to believe it maybe unlocking a door somewhere.

I looked around after activating it but couldn't find any kind of door that opened. Maybe a secret section of the wall or something?
A lot of people have wondered the same thing in previous threads. It's going to be pretty amusing if/when we find out later from one of the Dev's that it was just a left-over from some removed quest or a bug.
