Well, I started playing DA2 last night but I was too tired to actually continue once I had sorted out the framerate issues with DX11 and updated my drivers, etc, etc. Shame these oversights by devs are pretty commonplace these days, we never get a "working as intended" game out of the box.

And yes, it IS down to the fact that you have to compromise for consoles. Either in actually technical aspects or time spent polishing the PC version, I WISH Bioware would grow some balls and develop a PC Only title, see how it turns out.

But alas, due to all the errors and a total "expectation" backlash, I would like to post this link as a warning. A lot of it is probably from the backlash from PC fans who expected something else, but in all fairness can you blame them? Origins was better, I know that already. Bioware shudda gone with "Origins" style of play, or just give us some damn PC functionality and tone down the changes.

Thankfully I knew not to expect Origins so I'm still happy to play and treat it as a "new" game, the only thing I find REALLY irritating is the complete lack of a zoom function, It makes playing on Nightmare impossible (at least in the prologue) and that's even without the horrendous difficulty spikes.

I defy anyone to actually link a vid on youtube of then completing the prologue with a S&B warrior on Nightmare.

EDIT: Anyway to mod in a better zoom function? Or a free-roaming camera?
