Fenris a Qunari? Are you insane? This little emo negativity who likes to preach off constantly without your asking his opinion on how bad the world is and woe is him slavery is evil and mages are the spawn of the devil and oh wait, did you forget that he's a slave did he tell you he's a slave and isn't slavery and magic evil?

Omg. The Qunari would kill him within five minutes of his seeking acceptance to the Qun. They're the last group of people on the entire planet that would put up with his whino self-pitying woe-is-me victim complex self.

Frankly, I thought it quite apropros that he was an elf. Fits the entire race to a T.

Wow... a lot of Fenris hate. Personally, I thought he was one of the best companions, simply due to the fact that as a lightning/blood mage, he was perfect for setting up stagger combos. I took him everywhere I went, even if he was a complete jerk. Although he was tortured, so it's kind of understandable that he's not the most well-adjusted person. I'm also not liking these comparisons with Cloud. FF7 was awesome... Fenris has a big sword... okay, that doesn't make him anything at all like Cloud. It's fine if you hate him, it's even fine if you hate FF, but some people are just reaching...

I was actually pretty annoyed that you couldn't take the Qunari mage as a companion... they really got my hopes up, since I was expecting some kind of secret companion the whole game. And then that brainwashed idiot offs  himself... well that's just wonderful. >.>

And what's this garbage about no secret companion??? This whole game could be described by "what could have been." There were far too many unexplored options...

Yay, Fenris isn't anything like Cloud. Fenris actually has a personality and doesn't put on glasses and a coat to make himself look cool.

Though, now that I think about it, Fenris might be a Final Fantasy reference. (Cloud's motorcycle is named Fenris.)
