As a strong believer in freedom I absolutely think your opinion should be allowed, and you should be allowed to yell it around.

On the other hand, the same goes for my opinions, including the one that your manhood is too small and therefore you hate on gays to combat your own (and very justiified) feelings to be worthless.

no he wasnt, augustburnt. He was absolutely being a ******. Hrofft's mad opinions are not only stupid but a lot of what he's said is slanderous and hate speech, so pretty much in breach of rules 2 and 6 of the code of conduct here (not trying to teach my grandmother to suck eggs, pacifen, but it's the law man in me).

Agreeing with an opinion equating homosexuality to rape and child pornography, both of which horrft did, is being a ******, make no mistake. Also it wouldnt be protected under free speech as it is a straight up breach of human rights, so dont come across all noble and reflective.

But what you said *was* a personal insult.  You think that homosexual relationships are disgusting, therefore you find homosexuals disgusting, therefore you find me disgusting and that's how it becomes a personal insult.
