p.s. I am not irritated if women hits on me too, but if men in RL i would probably break his finger, slowly, not out of anger but just to educate manners in society.
I think we understood each other.
Anyway as long as in RL people behave and not insult each other (by talking about parents in bad way or open offer gay sex or etc.) there can be good friendly relations.

As for your post Alneverus, I don't think that is the point, the simple fact is that the characters in this game do develop an attraction for your character, whether that is Bioware's attempt to please all, is up to debate, but in my experience, they definitely do not cater their characters' preferences for the fans. I think they are just trying to show a world where people are comfortable and open with sexuality, where being interested in both genders is normal, that people can look past gender.
My biggest problem with the complaints in this thread, are in relation to the fact that people just immediately get angry because supposedly you cannot be a friend with someone in the game without them "jumping your bones." This is not the case in any way, and it seems like everyone just immediately reacts angrily to any advances. The simple fact is, anyone in real life can choose to flirt with someone, and in a similar way, in the game you can choose to react negatively, or just dismiss it as casual flirting. It seems like people here are hungry for a more extreme option.
It is something that is debatable, though I do recall when Origins came out (and with both Mass Effect games) there was a considerable amount of threads on the forums where people were not pleased that their character's relationships were restricted by the NPC's sexual preference.
To put it slightly more accurate, without them attempting to "jump your bones". Or to state it a little more accurately, without triggering the relationship flag for that character. I wouldn't call it anger, speaking from a personal standpoint, but more of an annoyance that homosexual content within the game seems so rampant. If they had made it where you required a little more effort I suspect that this much discussion (or even this thread) would not have occurred, or at least been slightly different in the discussion.
Which is what I suspect a lot of the anger you mentioned stems from; that it is so rampant and occurs so quickly.

um, seriously? it sounds to me like you need to learn some manners.
Maybe you allow insults in RL to go unpunished (badmouthing parents, openly offer gay sex etc. to normal person), but not me.
Some people dont understand words, well sometimes actions in RL educate better.

I'd be careful with what you say here, guys.
... The **** bioware. I dont understand, the game has guys who have sex with guys, how can you have that but consider the word "homosexual" bad, silly EA.
I'm beginning to wonder if there's no quality control/person who undergoes the reporting process and if it's just automated entirely.
Either way, I just got punished for calling myself a homosexual.
Way to go, EA.

But once again, that has nothing to do with homosexuality, just sexuality in general. The Dragon Age world is, and has been since Origins, a place that is comfortable with mature topics, where sex is on the mind of its inhabitants a lot (which is fairly representative of the real world, to be honest.)
Just because it is a male flirting with you, seems to be the problem. (or FF

I think anyone can make a report, it first sends an automated message saying they got your report, and then it sends a warning to the person reported, regardless of the subject matter or who's wrong or who's right or even if it's inappropriate or not.
I'm a bit shocked right now, I'll probably try to get a reaction out of their support team because to me, this is not okay.

You do know that irl you could try, oh I don't know saying something like 'Sorry dude, but I like girls, ok'. before resorting to slowly breaking someone's body parts because they made the mistake of coming on to you.
Suddenly it isn't the gay content of the game I'm concerned about for you, maybe you need to avoid violence in games ?

Heard of sexual harrasment? You live in West, you probably should have. Ask "lawyer" who is in this thread
p.s. Would you like unknown men coming to your mother for example and offer sex loudly? I think there should be some limits (including offering gay sex to normal people).
