It is something that is debatable, though I do recall when Origins came out (and with both Mass Effect games) there was a considerable amount of threads on the forums where people were not pleased that their character's relationships were restricted by the NPC's sexual preference.

To put it slightly more accurate, without them attempting to "jump your bones". Or to state it a little more accurately, without triggering the relationship flag for that character. I wouldn't call it anger, speaking from a personal standpoint, but more of an annoyance that homosexual content within the game seems so rampant. If they had made it where you required a little more effort I suspect that this much discussion (or even this thread) would not have occurred, or at least been slightly different in the discussion.

Which is what I suspect a lot of the anger you mentioned stems from;  that it is so rampant and occurs so quickly.

 Maybe you allow insults in RL to go unpunished (badmouthing parents, openly offer gay sex etc. to normal person), but not me.

 Some people dont understand words, well sometimes actions in RL educate better.

... The **** bioware. I dont understand, the game has guys who have sex with guys, how can you have that but consider the word "homosexual" bad, silly EA.

I'm beginning to wonder if there's no quality control/person who undergoes the reporting process and if it's just automated entirely.

Either way, I just got punished for calling myself a homosexual.

But once again, that has nothing to do with homosexuality, just sexuality in general. The Dragon Age world is, and has been since Origins, a place that is comfortable with mature topics, where sex is on the mind of its  inhabitants a lot (which is fairly representative of the real world, to be honest.)

Just because it is a male flirting with you, seems to be the problem. (or FF )

It cannot be entirely automated, the word homosexuality has been used so many times here and in other threads without people being reported. I'm quite surprised, perhaps it was just a mistake

I think anyone can make a report, it first sends an automated message saying they got your report, and then it sends a warning to the person reported, regardless of the subject matter or who's wrong or who's right or even if it's inappropriate or not.

I'm a bit shocked right now, I'll probably try to get a reaction out of their support team because to me, this is not okay.
