In the last cutscenes of act 2 and now in the begining of act 3 Grand enchanter Orsino is invisble. His robes,staff, and hair are all visible, but the man himself is not there.

It is really offputing to watch a cutscene with a talking toupe'.

Is there something wrong with my disc/game, or is this a common/known issue?

Well that sort of thing wouldn't be because of your specific copy. It's a glitch in the game although I don't know how common it is. I've seen similar ones, though not as bad, where Hawke didn't appear in a scene for a few seconds before suddenly appearing out of nowhere. It's probably similar to the texture glitches in Mass Effect 2 where it'd load the basic, blurry textures and then take a few seconds to render the proper texture - and sometimes it stayed with the basic ones for ages, making it look like some N64 graphics super-imposed over an Xbox game.

So would there be anything i could do to try and fix it? Uninstall and then reinstall the game data on the 360, or would i run the risk of corrupting my saves?

 I wouldn't remove the save files, but taking the game itself off your harddrive and uploading it again may work.

 Or, as happens often, the textures just didn't pop. This could be a harddrive read error that is occuring. Perhaps take the game off your harddrive and try it again and see if the textures load.......troubleshoot it!

Every time, i haven't progressed at all into act three beyond the opening cutscene. So basically from advancing into the keep in hightown,past the arishok section, into the part were Orsino is on his soapbox arguing with Meredith.

The man has no body or skin. Just robes the staff and that hair.

I watched some very epic confrontations between Qunari and magic-wielding-floating hair...

reverse happened to me he had a face but his robes are just white textures. Also happened with meredith. made the end game dissapointing.

on mine, the enchanter and meredith BOTH had no texture on their armor, it was as smooth as glass... this includes when meredith summoned the large statue's during her battle... the statues didnt have textures either.

I just got this yesterday, and after the cutscene (after waiting for an autosave) I turned off my original 360 and reloaded, and it was fixed. Reminded me of the ME3 bug-eye glitch on certain helmets.
