Hi guys,

I just started Act 3 however I did not come across any female Qunari yet, even though the concept art showed them (no female dwarves yet either come to think of it).
Has anyone seen a sign of them in the game?

Completed my first playthrough a while ago and never saw a female Qunari.

I find it odd Bioware would bother to create a design for a female Qunari if we never see one.

Look at it this way; at least they bothered to design them this time, unlike female krogan and female turians.

I didn't see any of them, either. I figure it's due to there being more than a little measure of truth in what the Sten in DA:O said. Women are not warriors. Women do not fight. For some reason, I figure that's true even among the Kal-Vashoth, they seemed equally accepting of their roles as any follower of the Qun.

Well the Men are the military (the Limbs of the Qun). The Women and some of the Men make up the beauracracy (if you could even call it that, aka The Mind of the Qun); while the tradesmen are made up of Men and Women (the Soul of the Qun). So if you're out and about conquering, the war parties are going to end being the Men. So you'd probably have to go to Par Vollen to actually find the bulk of the female Qunari, but I'm sure there are some Tal Vashoth women floating about.

There have to be *some* female Qunari in military roles, maybe not soldiers, but there could be cooks, communications officers (well, pigeon handlers maybe), trap detectors, etc etc.

How else do they make Qunari Broodmothers? Those Ogres don't just pop out of thin air.

That said, I'm still hoping for a female Tal Vashoth love interest DLC. ME WANT SNU SNU!

No female dwarves and you want female Qunari? I'd laugh if we got female Qunari but no dwarves.

Regardless, I agree. I'd love some female Qunari in my game. Doubt they'd serve any purpose though.

Well I'll remind you that female Qunari in their society at least sort of have a "Get back in the kitchen" kind of situation. The female's typically only serve as cooks and priests and such, support jobs for the most part. Only men are allowed to actually be soldiers. So it's not surprising that the only Qunari present in Kirkwall are men.

Agreed with masterSamson these Qunari were sent on a very specific special operations mission, to retrieve an ancient tome for the Qun, it was only meant to last for a short time so they would not bring anything but warriors onto the boats.

If I saw a female Qunari I would probably say, "what the f*ck... that makes no sense."

I don't think that was ever implied. While gender roles are strictly enforced, it was never stated that women only get support jobs, just not warrior jobs. Sten said they make up the merchants, priests, craftsmen, farmers. None of which are unimportant jobs.

Except that'd mean they'd starve to death long before they found what they were looking for.

Yeahh... They need someone to support them and keep them going while waiting.

They really missed out not having a Qunari companion. So well designed.
