I don't think Bioware keep itself ignorant after seeing the most donwloaded mods from Nexus, by example...

Well as the english are saying " wait and see ". Maybe they have cut down the bedscene for visual reason. If alot of people had complain about the underwear, it might make sense. But then, why do they have realise a stepback ? That's my awnser : parent >.> I can't tell for all europe, but i doubt that nudity is a real problem in france And as their biggest market seem to be american 16+... That could be explained as such. Violence and insult seems to became normal, but nudity not. IMO sex and nudity are not making more " brain damage " than gore and insult quite the contrary. I've seen much much " worst " movies xD

And on my cover it's definitly  a shinny red 18+

And most people in the USA seem more immune to violent images, so its acceptable to include that stuff. 1)  I would ask, in all honesty, if any BioWare game is actually suited to your tastes, then, if you do not like explicit violence.  Having played four BioWare games now, I see no sign that they make a game that doesn't involve seeing people slain in masses.

2)  It is very interesting how people complain about supposed narrow-mindedness and judgementalism by expressing narrowminded stereotypes and judgements of those who hold differing opinions...

hmmm u didn´t get it, eh? I said i don´t NEED explicit violence, not that itb would disturbe me (reading the used words would have helped here to understand their Meaning)... And in Germany Gorescenes are cut in most Games anyway .

And i didn´t bring stereotypes in the Discussion, i only make some fun about people, who say: "Oh my god, the kids, the poor kids!" everytime they see a naked Breast, but on the other Hand SAME people aren´t mocking for explicit violence, even if the blood flows in rivers.

In Germany

Different cultures have different opinions on these said subjects, also the Countries that these cultures are housed in tend to have laws that they must abide by.

If I'm correct, violence is heavily censored in Germany, god knows why *snicker snicker* but if nudity is considered "normal" then that's their business what they do with it, but don't expect it to be the same outside of your border.

America tend to have an alternative view on it (This isn't slander), Violence is welcomed where as nudity is viewed as almost riot worthy, I remember a comic on some website which the comic was basically a tongue in cheek jab at the way different countries deal with the aspects or certain videogames
The comic was about  Amnesia: A Dark Descent, where the game was being presented by the Swede developers while other nations surrounded it, terrorfied while he played it while the American viewer watched on making comments such as "Boring" and "This isn't scary".

In the finalle, there is a viewable Penis, and in the comic the American viewer reeled in horror at the image of a nude body which is almost laughable considering that fifteen or so years ago you could go on a murdering spree in Fallout killing people of any age, including children, all of this while doped up on drugs, although can't remember where abouts this was censored, I only ever remember playing the uncensored version in the UK.

And to violence: Since two MAssacres in german schools (one 2001 and one 2010) laws are more consequent, but even a game like Dead Space 2 got a rating (games without a rating cannot be sold open, are are even all forbidden), so what?

1)  The phrase you used was "What I don't need is explicit violence" in contrast to not having a problem with something else (nudity and sex).   That phrasing is often used to mean that the person using it does not want and would rather not see or get the thing it refers to.

2)  Your reference to "republican weapon Owners who celebrate Guns and violence" was exactly that.  A dumb, ignorant stereotype, one apparently shared by too many people in Europe.

I don't care if anyone agrees with me. But I do care that your first post in this thread was mocking and insulting someone who was sharing his early progress at editing a mesh and figuring out what can be changed. In another thread, Eiliestl actually said she wishes modding was banned completely by EA/Bioware. Now she also says she wishes they wouldn't have made a PC version. That's the kind of idiot troll we are dealing with here, folks.
