I have to agree with the art part of it. I have an attractive girlfriend, so it isn't the desire to see nudity all the time. It is more that the body designs in DA 2 are probably some of the most realistic ones I have seen in games. And especially with Fem Hawke, I have seen girls at the gym looking close to that, so why imo, would Bioware want to cover up some fantastic body modelling and texturing, other than to please the Puritanical mindset that prevails, because people get offended by everything these days. At least give us a DOB option on the game, so we can unlock it at the beginning.

Like I said: if you want porn, watch porn.  Lord knows I'm certainly a happy consumer of high-quality porn.  I don't need to waste time on low-quality porn in my games.

Its funny how you don't see the way your "argument" proves the point of the folks who want the nudity added, rather than what you think it proves.

Yeah, I know.  The last bit was supposed to be ironic.  Irony doesn't seem to translate well for me on forums.  I must be doing it wrong.

If people wanted nude mods, or better sex scenes, simply for the titilation factor, they'd just tab out and load up youporn or any number of a gazillion free porn sites out there.

People want the nude mods and the nude sex scenes for the immersion. For the same reason movies will have sex scenes when called for, and even top flight actors/actresses are often more than happy to "get naked" for them.

This is where we'll have to agree to disagree.  I think it lessens immersion.  Just like it does in movies.  There are actually very few places in either where a nude sex scene is "necessary to the story".  But to each his/her own.  The lovely thing about mods is that each player can essentially "roll their own".

Well I don't completely disagree. There are a ton of times I am watching a tv show or movie and the sex scene drags on and I'm like "yeah I get the picture, move along now." Or I wish they would just have a "boot scene" and move along.

But there are also times, especially if I feel like the main character/hero has really earned it, that I want to see a little action. So a huge part of it is the immersion. 

Another factor is simple curiosity. If I'm running around in a game for 10, 20, 40+ hours with some hot chick shaking her bootie, and the character is into my character, eventually my curiosity is such that I want to see her naked. That's not much different than RL actually, so I guess that's immersion too .

Nice! Before I started on Isabela I was going to make Flemeth's armor but everyone told me she was a monster.  not a player character, however in my hunting for Isabela files I found 2 flemeth files in models, that said player character. So good luck! Gratz on the almost nude Isabela, if there was ever one to get the clothes off it's her...though how can she throw those daggers now?

I can fully replace Bethany with Flemeth..just can't seem to do just the body, maybe she's a single model (tried every way I could think of and either got a full Flemeth, or a floating Bethany head).

And you can switch creature models with Follower models..I swapped Isabella for a Desire Demon for a short while to test, out of combat is fine, she floats along instead of walking..but as soon as you enter combat she lands and it looks kinda weird when she walks..plus the weapon difference it kinda makes it look like she has invisible lasers coming out of her nipples and she attacks by swaying her chest side to side..

How did you get them in their underwear? That alone is a pretty fun trick to do for a while.

Is there a savegame edit method? Like perhaps changing the SAVEGAME_APPEARANCE_TYPE and SAVEGAME_APPEARANCE_ORGINAL_TYPE values like in this thread?

I hadn't read about that, and didn't use it, it was just something that happened while I was trying to do something else..but if there is a mod like that it's better..since what I did you can't actually put the armor back on ;p

I don't think Thought Process uses DANexus for file uploads; the mod in question is available via a link in a thread in this forum.

A kid can legally see an R-rated movie with exposed breasts (which is the sauciest a Dragon Age game would ever get without modding). The video game industry, like the film industry, is self-regulated. There's no law against kids playing M-rated games. Retailers just agree not to sell it to kids under 17 so that legislators don't make a law.

That said, I think it does have a lot to do with PR. I mean, nipples get way out of hand once the media gets a good pinch in.

I think it were in another forum that some in America -- FOX for instance -- would look at a movie and admire the bloodbath, then once a nipple is revealed for a split second... go ape**** and claim it's an abomiation.

I think DA:O had some problems with FOX, thus, rushed underwear meshes.

Why the nudity? 
I have a better question.  Why not?  It's already reated M for sexual content (among other things), I want to know where the dang sexual content is!  That was one of the biggest things I missed from Awakenings (how dare they take my Alistair from me and then leave me with sexy Anders only to make it so I not only can't sex him up, but don't even really have chat him up cut scenes.)  And now here we are with a romance for a ...not nearly as good looking version of Anders, but a sexy broody elf, and we a very Mass Effect-ish romance?  The hell...if I wanted a Mass Effect style romance, I'd play Mass Effect!

Well I have figured out how to get all characters into there bra and panites. I first figured it out a few days ago but only could get it on a few characters in certain times of the game. I now have figured out how to get all toons female. In order to do it I would have to upload a save and a items_variable. IT requires modification to both of those files. I guess I can get to work on it. I now know how to do it. 

Edit.. Well I guess I can make 2 saves one with all characters females.  Then I can make a save for only the female characters in the game to go in bra and panties.

What I did was use the gff4 editor and make a copy of the NPC version of Flemeth, paste it above Bethany, then simply swapped the numbers around (I think Bethany was 1020), and renamed her to Follower - Bethany then deleted the original Bethany.. This completely swapped Bethany to Flemeth but I couldn't swap the head, so I changed the value below the model from S to P as trial and error trying to see if it would let me use a Bethany head morph with Flemeth's body, but I got an underwear Bethany instead.

Can do that for others, you'd be better off using one of the companion armor mods that Daywalker is talking about though, as I think when you remove the armor from the NPCs, they switch to underwear, rather than be near naked all the time.

If you're going to screw around with the files, make a copy of it and use that though, as several times I've completely screwed things up and started from scratch ;p 1st game I've tried to mod at all so is expected.
