If it is a game when you can decide what is correct or not, who must to live or not... why can't you choise if you want more often integral contact in romance scenes?...

This branch of DA2 has disappointed me a bit... I really miss DAO scenecut mods, they made more realistic stories with companions. Well, it must be question of to be patient :-)

Immerssion maybe ? Let's take an exemple. My female hawke romance ander. Go to thebed, fade to black. And then she strating to stoop up for was ? Seeing Anders fully dressed. My first thought : *oO You bastard get out of my house >< *

Completly immerssion breaking. I'm no girl but i'm pretty sur if somedoby like ander would do this to a girl, he will get a happy groin kick 80% of the time. It just don't seems to match his type. Being already up, why not, being already dressed-up, why ?

They do use different base meshes now, don't they? I thought that was part of the whole "art re-direction" thing.

The "nude" base meshes always have been separate; what I mean is that they would have to have a true nude mesh and the current underwear model and have a way to switch them based on the menu option. If they went that far, why not give us the option to alter the body shape as well?

While I may not agree with everything Cambios says, he does have a point in this discussion thread. If someone doesn't like the subject matter, they don't have to act like idiots mocking people for wanting something that isn't included in the game; they can simply ignore the thread.

Why doesn't exist the player choose to see the romance sceenes with nudities (or mid-) as it exists with level of blood?
Why are tolerated more violent scenes than sex? especially when violence is always worse than sex.
And why a naked breast is often mistaken with pornography?
It's quite incongruous to me.. Maybe I am growing old too fast or wiser too slow :-)

He's a troll because this is a modding forum, not a forum for a philisophical debate on politics, ethics, and morality.

If you don't like someone's mod idea, then don't read the thread. It is incredibly lame to jump into a thread about a certain type of mod and start criticising the very idea of the mod.

Yes, the game is suppose to be for "mature" players... BUT Bioware knows as every other game that just doesn't hold. You can see kids around 13 play 18+ games without any problems, and Bioware knows that.

At the very least bare breasts won't get them in trouble. Godfather II did this was not even a whimper about it. More detailed "love" scenes might. I still don't understand it but the controversy over GTA San Andreas that got it almost banned, until they blocked all mods, was about characters fully clothed in sexual positions. The fallout GTASA is still there though. Even the "mod" was just to unlock something already coded to keep copies selling Rockstar had block mods which I don't think Bioware wants to do.

Full frontal nudity may be out but in the past rated R type nudity has not really caused any problems. I don't know how video games games ratings work but the scenes are so short only get a brief nudity warning if it was a movie and had some breast showing in the few love scenes (which only happen once not every time). Bioware actually does more than Rockstar dares to do in this category. The GTA scenes are just moans while you see the front of a house.

I'll take a brief exemple. The pearl in denerim. When you go see the gentle boy/girl, they use the fable system. Black screen and moaning.

Rose : fade to black and the heros seem to adjusting his pant.

The result is even less subjective. But all in all, the debate is not really at the point of nudity/Explicit scene, more like about parent and their reactions. And on this we can't really do something. Maybe adding some localized content could do the trick. I don't honestly think some nudity/explicit content could be banned from europe as it could from us. But it would only be a little " trick " to allow US guy to tweack their game with european version :3

Yeah i agree. I think its because nudity is considered more of a taboo subject, especially in countries like the USA, and thats where the main market is. And most people in the USA seem more immune to violent images, so its acceptable to include that stuff. Yet in some other countries the opposite is true, nudity is more aceptable, and violent images are censored.

The controversy was about the fact that Rockstar claimed that the unlocked content wasn't in the game, but was added by the mod, which was later proven to be a false statement on their part. In fact, I believe it was briefly given an Adults Only rating until Rockstar re-released it with that content removed.
