Hi

I'm not sure if this is the right topic, but on youtube i have seen videos of the combat on PC where you can pause the game and issue orders to your team etc, on the PS3 tho it doesnt seem as smooth, seems more hassle then its worth tbh, could anyone explain how to do this for me please?

Thanks in advance :D

I haven't played the console versions and can't really say, but from what I have read I am pretty sure that is just a benefit of the PC interface.

any idea if they plan to implement this on the ps3 version? as it would help for nightmare difficulty by the looks

PC version is more zoomed out, issuing commands whilst paused is through 1 button rather than browsing menus.

Say I want to cast a fireball, I would have to pause the game open up the menu browse my spells and then move the location of where I want it to be and then cast.

On PC you pause, press 1 and it's cast where the mouse is, then press left click.

The PS3 actually supports mouse and keyboard controls, though no developers bother to do so.  It's a shame really.  I'm mostly a PC only gamer but I have always bought the Playstation systems eventually when they're cheap to play some console exclusives... playing shooters on the PS3 like Uncharted and Killzone would work out a lot better for me if they bothered to support the mouse.

yea would be a lot easier if mouse and keyboard was supported although i dont mind the controller for DA 2 just the tactical side of things for nightmare difficulty could be smoother
