I'm at a serious lost here when it comes to the night time docks for duty, the flint mercs are not showing up and I don't have a clue as to why not. Any idea's on what might be the problem?

Where is your map indicator telling you to go? You've tried searching everywhere there, right? I think once I found them over near the Shady Dealer, and once I found them directly across from the Qunari compound, so they may change their locations. Otherwise, if you've searched every nook and cranny, perhaps you should reload a previous file and try again... or do some other quests and see if they happen to show up later!
