I was referring to the rune you get for saving him, which I thought had some kind of knockback buff

It does and yes,I would hold back on using that...although I suppose it wouldn't hurt to use it when you take on the arishok at the end of act 2....so, I guess you do have a choice to make there...

Threw it on my guy's "Torch of Falon'Din", next to a ruin of devastation. Its pretty sick, especially with my cumulative bonus to fire damage of 90+% ^_^

90+% fire damage? LOL, that's possible in this game... and apparently depending how you build Merrill n possibly Aveline( with her guardian spec)...that's overkill...LOL!

Like a lot of people, I put it on Bianca. Seemed only fair under the circumstances.

Ya its possible ^_^. 2 25% passives in the Elemental tree, a ring that gives 24% (among other things), another ring that give some odd % number i can't remember right now, and the staff itself which has a 16% bonus.

All that plus a ruin of devastation's 10% bonus to damage, and the Primal Lyrium Rune  .

On an end-game weapon, it gives like 37% haste. I'd say yes.

holy ----! that might be enough to counteract the Thumbs Up bug and move at a normal speed again :o

Honestly man, since you play on the PC version, just get the daosavegame editor and change the values back to default. Its #42 under Party > CharName. Default speed is 0.0. If you have the bug, it should be somewhere in the negatives. Make sure to unequip any haste items so you get an accurate reading. The save editor can be found over at http://social.biowar...m/project/1936/

TVM for the tip!

Animation Speed is now set to base 0.0, Modifier +5.0 - does this mean I got rid of it?

If you see a positive number, it means you have some sort of +haste. If you are at 0.0 that would be base as if you had no gear on or simply have no +haste. Anything that dips into the negatives means you're getting the Isabela bug. Also check your damage resistance to see if you have the Sebastian bug as well. Just make sure you're not wearing any gear that has +dmg resist or have any talents that gives the same stat.
