Playing on hard at the moment, and the miniboss spider, dragon in the deeproads literally perma stunning my tank with constant knockback spamming. It is extremely annoying.
How does one deal with this?
Strat against knockback spam?

One of three ways, I believe.
One is to have your Strength decently high, and this should slow down the number of times you get knock-backed (also any items that give fortitude should help with this).
Two is to have any warrior talent that gives fortitude or immunity to knock-back or stuns. A talent such as "Resilience" from your Defender tree should appease this very nicely and shouldn't be too hard to get to, as its a great tanking tree.
Three is later in the game, certain items you'll find in shops give immunities to certain things, like flanking, crits, stuns, or knock-backs. These items (if you wish to respecc and save skill-points by not taking "Resilience") can give your character a little more depth skill wise.

Won't work against the dragon but against normal mobs you can always throw a stun or knockback effect at the people knocking back your mage or tank or whatever. The rogue's flask or rush is good for this, for example.
