I've sided with the mages throughout the game.. Now I'm faced with "Be merciful", "Give Samson another chance", and "Kill them all".. Anyone know consenquences for killing the templars? or what are the outcomes for the choices?

There's no consequences but if you choose to Be Merciful, there will be no further deaths, so the mages still there will survive, ad there are mages present. Kill them all will have everyone involved, templar and mage, killed. Giving Samson another chance will have Samson appear in a later quest supposedly, though I can't say which because I've only chosen the "Be Merciful" option.

Thanks.. When the Templar was talking about arresting everyone, I thought he meant -everyone- in my group. Thought I might be able to get out of it by killing them for the moment, but ended up deciding "Be Merciful". I appreciate the feedback.
