Edit: The loophole with Morrigan falling through the mirror and not technically being confirmed "dead" is at least acceptable because you can tell that it's coming. This was just insulting.

I think its an error on Bioware's part however.

Once free, she concotes a vile brew made from the local foliage to mend her wounds to the point that she is able to hobble with crutches to the nearest trade route. At that point, she finds a willing peasent farmer/merchant and lets him/her have his/her way with her broken body in exchange for travel to the nearest town.
Finally, after months of this degrading behavior, she ends up at a Chantry where she is healed. Leliana smolders at this betrayal and her convinction in the Maker has never been stronger. The Warden is lucky he's missing, because our favorite red head has quite the surprise in store for him/her when she finally finds him/her.

You only thought you killed her. After you leave, our brave Orlesian drags herself through those caves subsisting on dragon poo and cave water as she slowly pulls herself with her teeth to freedom.

One question: How the hell is she gonna do that without a head?

As a master poisoner, she threw some hallucinogenic dust in the air that makes you imagine that part. Don't worry. Even though you didn't actually decapitate her, the scars left on her naked body will make even the kinkiest person pale. There's a reason she's become the darling of the Divine.

There are a couple of times where the game just flat out ignores what you did in Origins. I wish they would either commit to a consistent world across games or just come out and say they don't give a damn. None of this half-way bull.

it all prooves there is a Canon in Dragon Age. pretty annoying compared to Mass Effect. No need to import your save guys.
It wasnt too hard to know that DAO has a canon its all there

But I wouldn't complain, fun to see the superior characters of Origins/Awakening in DA2.
(Dunno if Zevran or Nathaniel appear in DA2 if they die in your Origins/Awakenings save though, they were minor character in DA2 after all)

I liked seeing Leliana at the end. Having the decision forced on you; however, is another thing. I can understand they want some decisions to be canon since they are shaping the story. But allowing us to shape our own story and then having the product contradict our story is certainly a slap in the face.
Agreed, its just wrong.

That being said I'm happy she's in the game since in my main DAO headcanon, her and my CE Warden are lovers (and by the Maker, if the cameo bugs out and she says nothing about her ladylove I will get stabby... ;P)
(And about Anders, he definitely died in Awakening for me yet is quite alive for DA2, same with Justice...)

I will accept the excuse that there were some of Andraste's Ashes on the floor and she used them to survive.
Nothing less.
I doubt they can repair a chopped off head and probably is the reason Bioware removed finishers for safety reasons not ur safety but for your DA2 companions notice how you kill Anders with a little butter knife just incase they decide to bring him back lol:lol:
