Catt. Very insightful comment. How long did it take you to think of that. Not very unique comment.

Hyreterus. Err. Err. Oh. Err. Umm. You could nick pick any race. About who is smarter than anyone else. But american indians, aboriginal people had the last first. White men took it away. Regardless of our educated they where. It doesnt promote war or kicking them off there land. And I said it. There land. Not ours.

I never said any race was smarter then any other race... just to be sure you got that

And you say it was their land? Who are they? The indians were seperated in to tribes. Just think of europeans as a more advanced tribe who beat them all.

GunClubGirl. I finished dragon age origins on hardest difficulty. Was extremely easy.
Same with DA2, from what I played. Very easy on hardest. I am going through as Blood Mage.

But people like you AnyOldName. Are more unique, creative.
You are very funny.

One day, I learned to laugh at myself.

And since then, I have never run out of material. ;) :D

Sorry, I was trying to pull a Merill and be funny : /

What  I wanted to say is that I don't think a 5 year old should be playing Dragon Age 2, easy or not.

I have a little brother and sometimes he sneaks in my room when I'm playing Mass Effect or Dragon age, and he wants to play but I don't think it's a good idea. (He is 4 and I'm 23). I know tis is off topic, lol.

Regarding game difficulty, I had some troubles with certain encounters. Anyway I own the pc version and I heard is different? I don't know.

It's not racism... I don't think indians are less able then anyone else but they did have a backward "civilization". Check out a Steven Pinker lecture. There's a wonderful graph of the % of male deaths caused by war among the more savage tribes vs the 1st and 2nd world war.

I couldn't care less about your "out of body experiences"

Catt. I wont ramble on about game rateing again. But I used to watch horror movies with my dad at age 10. I am the most shy, peaceful person you would ever met. I am anti war, I am even a Vegan, dont eat meat. Or animal products, dont even use animal products. So thats my point, and my theory. Violence doesnt make you violent. And kids grow up way to fast. I mean. Teenagers as young as 13, are having babies. But media complains about young kids watching mature stuff. I would rather my kid, or nephew watching, playing that. Than takeing drugs, having babies.

I used to watch X-Files with my mom and play games when I was a kid. I don't know, perhaps you are right. :?

"This is a perfect example of how dumbed down DA2 is."
Really? a perfect example? Coming from a 5 year old?
You do realize that a 5 year old is far away from the game's rating of "Mature" so that's in no way a reasonable and rational argument for you to state and explain us how DA2 has been, "dumbed down"

How can I concentrate on a girlfriend when so many people need a reality check?

Sadly, I am very disappointed. If it wasn't the sequel to DA:O, then I wouldn't really notice the game, it would just pass me by. But I downloaded the demo knowing something of the idea: you play someone called Hawke and the game charts his / her rise to power in a single city, but not knowing the game play had been changed. At first, I thought the demo was good. The speed of it and the graphics seemed impressive. I don't play many games and when I do, they are usually turn-based strategy with people the size of my fingernail standing on hexes, so DA2 was like sticking my head out of a car window doing 100kph. :D

But after playing through it and reading more, I realised how much was missing from DA:O and became very disillusioned. It is a great shame. I haven't decided whether to buy the game or not yet. I almost pre-ordered but didn't after the demo came out.

I like to use tactics. In DA:O you can do this in real time because things move at a speed you can interact with. I would pause sometimes when needed. I played the whole thing on Nightmare and beat the Harvester at the end of Golems of Angmarrak on something like my 30-40th attempt. :D

But in DA2, things zip along so fast that tactical play is difficult. You have to make so many course corrections to keep the characters doing what you want because they finish their current tasks so quickly . Positioning doesn't seem to mean much because the characters teleport or blur across the battlefield like Jim Carey on crack and the lack of top-down camera makes positioning difficult.

And DA:O was what is called "realistic fantasy". I enjoy that. DA2 has super-backflips and casual teleporting by non-magical characters and enemies explode when you stab them! Why would they do that?

I can let you know more when I have played more. I don't begrudge anyone else enjoying it. I'm sure many will and I wish them happiness at it. But for me and my PC, I think it is a great let down.

Considering they were already killing eachother over the land, it wasnt really anyones. Borders change.

Also you said in an earlier posts about having "an awesome 5 year old, jealous" No because reading is much more important than you know vidogames. I enjoy fallout, but vats hasnt benefited me in real life.

Also playing CoD at 5, and half the other games damn. Fallout has hookers, drugs, murder, rape, pedophilia (coook cook) torture, gore, slavery, you name it.

Perhaps you could find a girl who disagrees with you on history or games, and then you could spend time arguing about indians followed by make-up sex. Might be your perfect relationship. ;) :)

Alpr. I am no way getting ego. Or bashing bioware. I am just simply pointing out how easy the game is. Well. Demo is.

The demo is on normal. Origins was ****** easy on normal. Play hard or nightmare and you'll be crying. Point is, you're just another person baselessly bashing bioware for a game you have not even played, just the demo.

This is a perfect example. How dumbed down DA2 is. If a 5 year old can complete demo. Which I assume is in normal difficulty. Listen to this bioware. He completed Demo. No health potions, no level up. Just bashing buttons to death. He won the game dynasty warriors style. Hehe. Cant stop laughing.

My nephew age 5. Has been gameing for past year.  He cannot read. So leveling up was not a option. And he wouldnt hand over controller for me to level up. As he was so engrossed in his button mashing.  But he could work out skill buttons to press, change character, but he couldnt work out skill wheel, so he never healed. Did you hear that bioware, he finished Demo and never healed once. He only got back health, after each fight finished.

So he was playing as rogue. I was like. Hey buddy. Hey little dude. Let me level you up. No uncle. Leave me alone. I am gamin.  So we get to 2nd boss. I was like. Hes going to kick his butt. Hes going to throw the controller at my 50 inch tv. He was running around, some how the master, which is me. Taught him circle straffing. So he was button mashing and circling straffing, until that big boss died. Granted all other party members died, but his rogue ended the boss.

After nearly falling off chair laughing. We got to the nex part, the town. He looked at me. And said. What did you say about leveling me up. I was like. Hey dude. Dont worry. Continue, hehe.

SO finished. Not using health, not leveling up. And on rogue. The hardest character, As if I had him on mage. He would of totally blown away enemies.

So they call this game more indepth, so much more features. Hehe. If a 5 year old can fly through demo. With only a year gameing experience. Hehe. Really tells you how watered down game is. Posted Image

(1) If it's true, than this is a story about parrents' incompetence. How did they allow 5 years old kid to play game with 18+ restriction?

(2) Combat on any difficulty other then Hard or Nightmare should be easy. Thats why such difficulty levels exist.

(3) Since when DA games are about combat only? This is RPG game and combat is only part of it. Such games are for roleplaying, not for cybersport.

P.S. "5 years old can complete this game" is a term used mostly by people that prefer multiplayer games (Starcraft 2 fan? Angry that SC2 did not take any rewards 2010?). I think OP just came here for some trolling.

Really? He must be a good gamer, because a lot of other people who did good in Origins had trouble with the demo. This doesn't prove anything.

Hes a great gamer. He learnt from the best :-). By the way. I could easily finish DA2 on nightmare difficulty. Easily. Not only easily. I would say it would only take me 10, 15 hours to do.
