believe there are some potential problems regarding the current handling of projects - problems that will become more obvious once the number of projects starts to increase significantly.  In other words, what we jhave is just not going to work when we have hundreds or thousands of projects.

The first problem is that I anticipate that the number of projects under construction or "abandoned" projects will at any time far exceed the number of "completed" projects, maybe by a factor of 10 or so.  What this means is that if I am a player looking for ciommunity-made modules or DA:O addons to play, I will have a hard time finding the "finished" modules - they will get lost in between all the projects that are under construction.  The same applies if I am a builder looking for "Builder-to-Builder" material to use - I don't have a way to search only "completed" projects.

The second problem is that there are too few project categories.  For "Builder-to-Player" projects it is fine to have just the two categories that you already have - "Dragon Age Addons" and "DA End Uder modules".  The problem is with the "Builder-to-Builder" material.  Currently there are three categories: Models, Textures and Builder utilities, but what about all the other possible catigories?  Custom music released for others to use, collections of scripts, Vfx stuff, area prefabs and so on?   There are simply too many categories of content that builders might want to share, which do not fit neatly into any of the existing categories.

The third problem is that regardless of whether I select the "Player community" or the "Builder community", I get the same list of projects.   My opinion is that the list of projects should be split - If a project is intended to provide a playable module, add-ons to the game or any other "Builder-to-Player" material, it should show up only in the project list in the "Player community" - if the project is meant to produce "Builder-to-Builder" content, it should only show up in the "Builder community" project list.

The fourth problem is that it is not possible to change project categories.   This is a problem if a project gets mis-classified initially, or if the list of available project categories changes in the future, and a more suitable category becomes available.  Case in point - I created a "tool" project back in July.  See here  I don'r think the "Builder Utilities" category existed at that time, so I put it in the DA Addons category.  Now I would like to re-classify the project and put it in the correct category, but I cannot do that.  There are other projects that seem mis-classified - the "Mage of the Blood" project is in the "Models" category, and while I have no idea if that is intentional or not, I would have guessed it should be in the "End User Modules" category.

To a certain degree, problems 1,2 and 4 can be solved together (in a relatively simple manner) by adding more categories like

DA End user modules (under construction)
      DA End user modules (completed)

Anyone looking for a completed module to play would then restrict his search to the (small) list of projects in the "completed" category.  Anyone starting a new project would first put it in the "under construction" category, and once it is completed and ready for cownload, the project would be moved to the "completed" category.

There are a few more project-related issues, but they are less important.

We will see non-English end-user modules. It would be nice to be able to filter/classify end-user modules by language, or at the very least as English vs. anything else.

If there is a way for me to get a notification if someone comments on my project, I have not found it yet. This would be a nice addition.

Sorting projects by "number of views" is completely pointless, as it is so easy to abuse - if anyone wants to boost his project's views, he can just hit the "refresh" button in the browser a few hundred times. Ideally I would like to see a proper rating system (number of ratings and average), but at least the "popularity" is better than nothing - at least it cannot be as easily abused.

Mage of the Blood should indeed be a Module not a Model and I've been asking to be allowed to change it for a while so that my inability to read complete words is not revealed to the world. It looks like on Tuesday I will simply have to live with the shame.
