would be cool if there was a link between hawke and the warden with your sibling as a warden, but that can still be a fail scenario if your sibling is not a warden, dead, or your warden dead.

My warden is dead. I don`t see how he could join up with Hawke.
Then you'll get Stroud.

I think we're forgetting about one huge thing which is Flemeth she is gonna be a huge part at some point in the story and lets not forget about the child you have with Morrigan if you chose to have it because in Witch Hunt she says that child has a huge destiny so maybe you get to play as that child when its older and battle Flemeth.
I think Flemeth is one of the "Old Gods" (possibly Dumat, as brought up in Legacy) trying to make a comeback, and/or somehow Morrigan's child will be a demi-god (the next threat). My guess is that she's used the Warden and Hawke to ensure that certain events have unfolded (threats removed).
But whatever, I guess we'll all find out soon enough.

Six voice actors to do the VOs of the main character for the entire game? I really, really doubt that will ever happen.
Well, the Warden is established as the strong silent type, so Bioware could play on that and give the Warden very few lines compared to Hawke, and still afford 6 voice actors. It would be a great laugh.

In Dragon Age 3 you should have the choice of who to play as. Either your Warden or Hawke.
If you choose Hawke, you get a conversation wheel and a voiced protagonist. If you choose the Warden, you get the list of replies and a mute character.
This would satisfy TONS of more people than the amount it would disappoint, this is a non-discussable fact.

My Warden died.
So... tweak the idea a bit?

I thought of something though, I remember Leliana says that it is no coincidence that they both disappeared. I forgot where I read it but it's about The Warden and Hawke being connected to one final fate. Wouldn't it be cool if the new protagonist had The Warden and Hawke as temporary companions in the final battle and in the end you are faced with some integral decision that forces you to choose between The Warden or Hawke's life?

1) Dragon Age III will be a different story with a different protagonist. I don't get why people love playing as the same person in multiple games.
2) My Warden, while not dead, would never return to any form of adventuring life. Him being forced to would be criminal.
3) There is no way that they will have 12 different voice actors.
4) Having Hawke and the Warden, people who have never met each other and would potentially hate each other with a virulent passion (I know my Warden would kill Hawke on the spot for slaughtering his clan), high-five and start working together would be the most ridiculous, fanwanking bull****.

Soooo if I get this right... just because YOU don't want to, none of all the other people that want to can? Boy thats really selfish.
I don't get it, at the start of the game you should be able to pick.
IMPORT SAVE, but creat new character
IMPORT SAVE, and IMPORT warden
There, now everyboy is happy, you are, and I am.

Plus, their mothers would have a lot of explaining to do, if still alive, when these guys meet and look almost exactly the same.

I would really nerd out if my Warden came out of nowhere with a battalion of Wardens to save the Inquisitor and my party during a battle where defeat looks close at hand. Gods would that be glorious.
They'll have to make "Dragon Age: All Stars" at some point.

An interesting idea as The Warden is now a NPC. But it needs the 'disappearance' of the two prior PCs to be resolved first. Whether Bioware does this as teased is another question.PhantomPrinceXIII wrote...
