Just pure speculation.
As we know two times Sandal has been seen fighting a pack of darkspawn and killing them. The second time he does it he says "not enchantment"
He is the only dwarf (may be mistaken) that has some bit of magic.
He was found in The Deep Roads, where the old gods use to live.
When you talk to Sandal in your estate he makes a prophecy abouts the sky opening. Which happens (or will soon be happening)
When you talk to him again he says an old lady was watching him (Most likely Flemeth)
If your warden did the dark ritual with morrigan, and you did witch hunt, you know you go to the fade, Where time stands still and mabye you can go back in time? (Purely speculative.)
Sandal, the wardens child?

Unless I'm missing something here... No, because Sandal is actually in the Warden's camp with Bodahn throughout Origins. Bodahn found Sandal abandoned in the Deep Roads many years ago and decided to take care of him. It's explained in Origins if you ask him about it.

Like I said, mabye in the fade it has the power to go back and mabye Morrigan planted Sandal in The Deep Roads for Bodahn to find?

If Bioware resorted to the plot-vomit that makes up comic books and Japanese cartoons its the end of their reign as the storyline king I'm sorry.
That is a terrible explanation for Sandal.
Sandal is a young adult by the time the warden comes around. There is no way he is related to the warden. If he was I would say Bioware was starting to make the warden a mary sue thus needs to be killed off permenetly ASAP before he/she starts blowing up planets with his fists and coming back to life after being killed for the 5336469123 time and flooded the storyline with 30 generations of his children all of whom are amazing superheroes.

How would that make sense? In my playthrough Morrigan and Alistair did the ritual, Sandal is a Dwarf.

Because your import didn't matter, People have killed Zevran yet he's in the game, and alot more.

I killed Zevran in Origins and he was not in my Dragon Age 2 game.
Not to mention the idea sounds ridiculous, he couldn't exist at all in your camp if you didn't do the ritual, and that's a continuity error within Origins itself, let alone any sequels where you port your saves. So your Dalish Elf Warden had a magic Dwarf baby with a Human? Right.

ok a few things wrong here.
1. The fade is not a Time machine, time does not pass in it but time does pass in the real world were your body is ((Anchor point)) it impossible for some one to go back in time via the fade.
2. My warden not a dwarf and so many others are not so that nixes it all together.

Having Zev survive his wounds makes more sense then the warden having a time traveling Dwarf son,
Not to mention I think you don't quite understand the fade. its not a physical place you go. Its a dreamworld. Its like a world made up of the dreams of all elves Qunari and Humans. Morrigan didn't travel into the fade via the mirror. The mirrors might link her to other places but you can't physically go into the fade.
