First, let me say that I am a huge fan of the game, albeit a late fan.

OK, I was originally dismissive about this game, as dragon-slaying seemed old as a concept, and I somehow thought this would be an mmorpg. Needless to say, I was WRONG.

That said, after two playthroughs, I noticed something. Your origin story is totally unique, and has practically no bearing on the way the game is played. I did my first playthrough as a human mage, and genuinely loved the experience. But aside from the occasional reference here or there to my time in the Circle, my origin went unnoticed. In large part, I didn't particularly mind.

Now though, I am nearing the Landsmeet as a human noble, and I am still wondering what happened to Fergus. For those who don't know, Fergus is the human noble's brother.

I can understand that the game is already full, and that fully integrated origins would require dropping much of the other great content. But I really think there is another solution. Origin NPCs like Fergus could be recruitable in the sequel. Instead of killing off everyone in your family, Bioware could have had you meet up with Fergus in Lothering, or as Loghain's prisoner, or Arl Howe's prisoner. Heck, Id've settled for the king telling you your brother was ambushed on the way back to camp.

Anyhow, my suggestion is that someone you meet in your origin could come with you, as an origin specific party member, in the next Dragon Age game. What do you guys think?
