// Get the tooltip api and bind our own 'close' link to close the tooltip
var gallery_tooltip = $("#show_gallery").data("tooltip");

$('#close_gallery_tooltip').click(function(event){
event.preventDefault();
gallery_tooltip.hide();
});

Well I am having the same basic problem . . . not sure about all the minutiae there but every time I go to "Configure" or "Play" it tries to pull up the configuration window and it crashes, so I cannot get into the game. I did get past the release date check by choosing the DragonAge2 App within the bin_ship folder, but then I get the “The application will not run on a Windows guest account or an account with insufficient privileges” error and the workaround proposed in the main "Unable to Launch" thread did not solve this. I am thinking of trying to update BIOS but it is not working well for me because my computer doesn't seem to be able to read what my system specs are, BIOS included.

Same issue here, including what Ragnarokpc experienced when trying to launch directly from. None of the suggestions on the "Game Doesn't Launch" post work. Windows 7 64-bit. Athlon 4600+ proc. 6gb RAM. All drivers current.

Not as yet. have up-to-date BIOS and video driver, my repository is "consistent" . . . the thread you mention is the one I made reference to.
