Is there any? If so, where do you get it/them?
Does it require Templar as a Spec?

I'm looking for it too. I thought it would be in the Gallows, but no dice. Someone else said they had it, but as always, they magically forgot.

I read that if you (spoilers) sweet talk Meredith (spoilers), she'll mail you a suit with hugs'n'kisses.

Hella lame. As my Sister is an apostate, I was planning on siding with the Mages.m14567 wrote...

Well, that doesn't really fit your theme then, does it? If you planned on siding with the mages, in terms of roleplay, what would your character be doing walking around with a suit of templar armor on? That doesn't exactly scream, "Vote Mage 2012".

RP wise, I could learn the Templar arts to better protect my sis, to fight evil Mages, etc. To side with the mages may mean RP wise I believe the Chanty's grip on Mages is too strong, that oppression isn't the solution, etc.

You can find templar armour, forgot which quest it's on though I'm pretty sure I got it in Act 2.

I just looted the Templar Boots- Superior Armor off the Templar Lieutenant in the Midnight Meeting Act 2 quest , so I'm pretty sure there has to be a armor.
It gives you magic resistance and theres no requiremant for being a Templar to wear it surprisingly.

I have seen Templar armor, both light and heavy, at the Shady Dealer on the docks, HOWEVER, it is very random if it's there or not, I have only seen the Heavy armor once and the light armor twice and they disappeared fast again.

As previously mentioned there is 1 chestpiece that Meredith sends to Hawke if side with her during the conversation with Orsino at the start of Act 3. That is called 'Knight-Templar Regalia', it's the standard Templar armor with pauldrons, skirt. Then there is also 'Templar Armor - Superior Heavy issue' which can be found in a 'Standard' locked chest during the 'Offered and Lost' quest in Act 2. I got the former and wore it for a while with my FemHawke Warrior in my first playthrough, felt right seeing as she idolised the Templars. According to the Wiki the Shady Merchant in the docks (night) sells 'Templar Gloves' and some enemies apparently drop Templar Boots, though I don't think I've seen any of them yet. No mention of the helmet though, anyone know if there is one that matches the Templar Helm design?
